Only time I’ve ever gotten a blizzard here that last 3 times the machine was broken. They refused to turn upside down, even though the sign states upside down or the next one is on us. The worst service ever, and worst food. If you like Dairy Queen just find a different location to purchase it from, even if it’s further down the road the drive will be the same amount of time after you wait the 1 hour to get a runny blizzard. This would be a great place to put a Dairy Queen lol
Editing to add another experience, my husband drug me here today, because he wanted to see if the machine to make blizzards was still down, surprisingly it wasn’t. First time ever to have a blizzard in 5+ visits trying to obtain a blizzard. With that being said we waited inside the restaurant (in line, with only 2 people in front of us)for 30 minutes before they even took his order. I had no faith in a blizzard being produced, so only my husband ordered anything at all. We watched the drive thru fill up and empty 10 cars before even glancing at the customers inside their dining area. Watched the girl behind the counter drop a dish onto the floor pick it up and use it for someone’s food. The workers seemed to be moving frantically with no organization whatsoever. 4 people working, one was in the back, 3 in the front. 2 working the drive thru exclusively and one that was cleaning, and taking orders every 30 minutes for dine in customers. For one small blizzard it took nearly an hour to get. A woman waiting for a mobile order for 30 minutes once she arrived, and only when she brought up to the worker she had a mobile order and had been waiting for so long was she even acknowledged in...
Read moreI ordered the “2 for $5” and got fries and a 2 piece chicken strips with honey mustard. My daughter ordered fries and choco brownie extreme blizzard. When I received my bag, I only had one fry and the girl said they didn’t hear me order the second fry. So she went and had another one made. Then when we received the choco brownie extreme blizzard, it was made with vanilla ice cream. My daughter told them that at the Dairy Queen where we are from (we are from out of state) that they make those with chocolate ice cream. She stated they could be made both ways and that we needed to specify if it was to be made with chocolate ice cream. She then turned to her manager And remarked “she says where she’s from they make it with chocolate ice cream” and her manager turned to her and told her they are supposed to be made with chocolate ice cream. She Then begrudgingly made it correctly, but didn’t put as much topping in it as it is supposed to have. I also ordered an extra fry when my other daughter decided she wanted fries as well, and when we got back to our room, she found a hair in the fries that was the color of the girl that was griping...
Read moreThe sign on the door listed 10 pm as closing time. We arrived around 8:40, parked, went to the door and it was locked. An employee was outside emptying trash cans. I asked why the door was locked, but their sign said they closed at 10. Never really understood her response. She mumbled something about that being a time for another day. It was Saturday evening when we went. She said we could order through the drive thru which is what we did. We sat behind 3 other cars and ordered our food. When we were almost up to the window, a guy came and knocked on our window and told us they could not fix our food because the grill had already been cleaned. I guess the moral of this story is don’t go to this DQ if it’s within about an hour of closing time. If they say closing time is 9:00, they aren’t going to close the doors at 9. They are going to be done and walking out at 9:00. Very inconsiderate to customers to lock doors before closing time, tell them to go through drive- thru, then cancel their order. Their food isn’t that great anyways. It will be a long time before I ever go back to this Dairy...
