Writing a review for this BigFoot Java is a bit tricky as we have had some not so great experiences with some of the baristas here, but after a year of being in Puyallup then moving back, it seems the location has improved. The baristas here have been very friendly and efficient at making drinks not only look great but taste great too. They are also always so sweet to say hello and offer treats to our two dogs that are usually with us. We love to try out their monthly special drinks but we do have our stable favorites such as the Creamsicle, which for some reason the baristas never ever get right which is super unfortunate. They give me the frostbite version every time and when I tell them the iced version, they look at me confused and try to correct me that I want the frostbite version. I truly would like this to be taught better as I haven't had that drink in forever due to this confusion. Other than that though, no other issues.

Startbucks was not doing it for me. And a friend recommended Bigfoot Java so I tried their version of a caramel frappe and it blew me away. Since then the 44oz Caramel Frostbite has become my standard. That's a double venti for those that speak startbucks. Made with real ingredients. I believe this is what makes them Legendary. I have been a loyal customer for over 7 yrs & have been to at least 17 different locations, the quality is very consistent and satisfying.

We were staying in the area and gave Bigfoot Java a try. The coffee was okay, the hot chocolate was also okay and the frozen lattes were good but nothing special. The wait time in the drive thru line was slow considering they were staffed with 4 employees. There appeared to be more chatting amongst themselves instead of making drinks and preparing orders. Maybe it's just this location, we will try another.

SHAME ON BIG FOOT JAVA! #BFJBoycott Forcing young, inexperienced drivers to show up for shifts after Washington has declared a State of Emergency. Businesses all across Western Washington have closed or reduced their hours for the safety of their employees and their guests, but Big Foot Java would rather threaten termination for those unwilling/unable to make it for their schedule shift. My niece was one of the young ladies that was told to make it or be fired. Her shift started at 4am Saturday morning. She drives from Fredrickson/South Hill area, but works at the Hoyt location. After slipping and sliding and getting stuck she called for assistance and was finally able to make it in. She arrived to a stand without power. Per company policy, she sat her car (the entire shift) rather than being allowed to sit somewhere nearby (with heat) or go home. After severe backlash and over 1,000 shares of this post, Big Foot Java has modified their hours as needed. They’ve also began retaliation in the form of termination for any employee that has commented on the post, shared the post, commented on their (BFJ) original post boasting about “We don’t close when it snows”, and/or any employee that has stuck up for themselves regarding safety and concern. * my niece was one of employees that battled the elements again today to make it to work on-time. Once she arrived, she was told “you’re free to go. You’re off the schedule”. I choose to support ethical businesses and I’d urge you all to do the same. Coffee and Cream Cafe, Easy Espresso, Dutch Bros., Gravity Coffee Co., Starbucks... there’s options, folks! Reminder to show your barista...

The only reason why I am giving them two stars and not one is because of how nice the ladies were when we went. They were really kind, now the customer service wasn't the problem the problem was the actual drinks. It had been the first time me and my family had went there and we ordered some Italian sodas along with a mocha Frappuccino with "whipped cream", we also ordered some "whipped cream" for our pup. As soon as we tasted the drink we knew something was off, the Frappuccino was extremely and I mean EXTREMELY sweet, keep in mind that we have a sweet tooth but this was too much. It took only one sip and it was instant regret, you couldn't taste any flavor due to how sweet it was. As for the Italian sodas, they barely tasted like anything, it tasted like water and a drop of vanilla extract along with a ton of sugar. But the worst part of it all was the "whipped cream". As soon as tasted it I knew that there was no way that could be whipped cream. The consistency was extremely thick and oily, it made us get a stomach ache afterwards. The cream I believe is buttercream instead of whipped cream, it was extremely disappointing and made my pup get an upset stomach afterwards. Never coming here again, I don't recommend this place at all, leaves...

I moved to the area 3 years ago, and I frequented them weekly. The baristas were all really sweet, responsive, and efficient. However, they have all new staff and the gals that work the stand now are not as thorough with their job. The wait is always 10+ minutes long, even if there are only a total of 2 cars in line from both sides. Everytime I have gone. Which is 4 times, I have to mention that I have a Rewards number for my points, and I catch the vibe that the girls working are on a social hour at work, rather than having strong rapport with their customers. Perhaps, the extra traffic is because of the growth in population, or because Bigfoot tends to have a difficult time with delivery. But there should definitely be another Bigfoot Java location in Federal Way. I got a giftcard for Christmas, that I would love to use. Except always having 2 kids in the car, and being short on time-with having the same idea for my Morning pick me up as everyone else on the block-I don't really want to have to wait in line, in a tiny parking lot for crummy...
