China Garden — Restaurant in Ferdinand

Just got finished eating here I ordered the sesame chicken and they brought something else out and when I said I ordered sesame they asked if what they brought would be okay. I said I would like sesame chicken and he took it and brought it back not even a minute later and said they made a new one all they did was put sesame seeds on it. I have had it here before and know what it tastes like so I knew it wasn’t right when we asked about it they said that it’s the same as the others just a little different they could have at least made it right or if they didn’t want to offer a refund and I would have went somewhere else. New to the area, we looked for almost a year for good Chinese food in the area. Someone recommended China Garden, and we are absolutely convinced CG is the best Chinese food in all of Dubois County. Just removing the entree plastic covers and the steam rises, the food is that hot, and that fresh. No more soggy cashews sitting under a heat lamp in a buffet; CG's cashews in their entrees are crunchy! My wife really likes the crab rangoons. Service was efficient and the food was within expectations of American Chinese restaurant fare but I was tasting an awful bitterness from the broccoli in the Vegetable and Tofu dish. None of the broccoli from another dish was bitter.
