If it were possible to leave no stars, I would!
We ordered two orders in the drive thru. The second one was placed after paying for the first order when we realized that the item with NO CHEESE was missed somehow. We took great care in emphasizing the NO CHEESE item because our son is allergic to dairy. It was not present on the receipt. So we asked to make a separate order for it. In looking at the receipt for the second order, and through my later phone conversation with the person at the site, I found that a 'fast food' MEXICAN restaurant does not have a simple BASIC menu item like a beef burrito. How is THAT even possible!?!?!!! A 'Beefy melt burrito, minus all the extraneous nonsense was on the receipt. ..... Fiesta Strips......what is that?! Tortilla strips?.... I guess there isn't enough carbs with the flour Tortilla wrapping the item. Holy mackerel!
I digress....
The lady at the window asked her fellow worker and was assured that the second order was included in the bag she handed to us. Hooray! After a long day of driving, ten minutes to home and everyone will be able to have dinner. Right?
WRONG!!
We get home and start passing out the food and realize that the burrito with no cheese is not in the bag. The Mexican pizza which was on the first receipt was ALSO ABSENT! There are, however, two extra items we did not order and nobody wanted included in the bag.
I have frequented Taco Bells in various locations, since the late 1980s. I was saddened to see the tacobell grande (large taco) leave the menu..... I was maddened to see the original chicken burrito pulled from the menu.....and I was ENRAGED to see the Mexican pizza disappear.....well, you brought it back.... although I didn't get the one I ordered....
I have not been to a Taco Bell in a long time....but because our daughter wanted Taco Bell and she was visiting us over the Easter weekend with her aunt and everyone else seemed to be OK with Taco Bell..... we decided to take a chance....
And you blew it!!
The gentleman I spoke to about these issues, was kind enough and seemed to genuinely want to be of help, stated that they would be only too happy to make new items for us if we drove back that night..... that was not an option.....an extra half gallon of gas and a further nearly half an hour (round trip) after the long day on the road was just not going to happen.
BEFORE this experience, Taco Bell was not high on my list of dining options....and that, by itself, speaks volumes! Pre 1995, if I had the cash and opportunity to eat out, I was going to Taco Bell.....
After this fiasco, you could give me a $100 Taco Bell gift card and I would probably throw it...
Read moreWe stopped for dinner on a Monday night. There was a family of 4 but no one else dining in. Spouse and I placed our order. I went to the restroom but woman's said "in use". After waiting and restroom still not open, I went back and looked and my husband was still waiting for our food. No food yet. I went back and tried the restroom door, and it was open. The "in use" indicator on the knob was broken. Returned and we still did not have our food. I went up to counter to tell them about the broken knob. A different employee than who took order called our name. She said we had given the order back saying it wasn't ours when it was ours. I said we have been waiting and never given our order. They must have given it to someone in the drive thru who then gave it back. We were the only people inside waiting for food, don't know how that could be confusing. Wondering why it was taking so long when they were not that busy. When leaving, I told the woman at the counter about the restroom door, she already knew about it since she asked if i knocked. I said they should put up a sign instead of having you stand there and wait when the...
Read moreOk this Taco Bell is brand new, newly built. The staff is what seems to be the problem at this location. I ordered a chicken soft taco and a three layer nacho. As you can see from my pictures, wow! My three layer nachos weren't even entirely covered and the refried beans were just plopped out with an ice cream scoop in one big clump. Still edible... But very carefree in there making it. That chicken soft taco on the other hand not edible! The shredded chicken inside was hard! I mean extremely hard! Like it was the crusted old leftover chicken sitting in the bottom of an empty metal container! It was disgusting! I took it back and they replaced it free of charge of course, and the new one looked perfect. Not sure why they didn't just do it the first time. Hoping I wouldn't look inside maybe? Seems lazy. They were completely fully staffed also. I will say though that the cashier upfront was nice and and friendly. Or you don't get any...
