We went to Las Palmas tonight for our daughter’s birthday. We had so much fun!!! Mario was our server and he did an excellent job. The food was delicious. Daughter loved her carnitas torta and my chili relleño was so good. And the best part was Mario and Paco brought her out a fried ice cream with a candle after our meal. They are played a Hispanic happy birthday recorded song and they cranked it up so that everyone could there could hear it. Then Paco knew how to do a sound which sounded like Fourth of July missiles going off. They just made her birthday so festive and so fun. One of my favorite Mexican dishes is mole and is very difficult to find restaurants that not only make it from scratch but is authentic. Needless to say I am happy I decided to walk, it was top 5 mole recipes I’ve had! The chicken so fall apart tender and full of flavor in its own was the perfect vehicle for the mole sauce. The burritos came out and were cold, the cheese wasn't even melted. We had to fight to get napkins and silverware, never did get the silverware. The enchilada platter was cold and tasted old. The tomatoes in the steak fajitas were rotten. We decided to push our luck and ordered fried ice cream. We sat an additional 30-45 minutes to no avail.
