Jake's Burgers at Sterino Farms — Restaurant in Fife

This place is awesome. Everything is seasoned well. Veggies are fresh and it’s something about that bun that just pulls it all together. Oh and it’s cheap eats too. In the last 48 hrs I’ve had the Chicken Deluxe twice because the 1st time I couldn’t believe how good it was I had to go back again to make sure I wasn’t crazy. The hot dog is always delicious as usual. I didn’t eat the burger because I don’t eat pork but they said it was delicious. The current shake is the Tayberry and it’s delicious. I think it changes with whatever berry is in stock. Went back the next day and got the chicken sandwich again and the chicken strip basket and fries. All I can say is Delicious and I’m not crazy. It’s good. Warning this place can be busy and the parking can be crazy. It’s gonna be a bit of a wait because they make everything fresh. But they give you a little beeper thing that goes off when your food is ready. You can shop the fresh produce while you wait. I sometimes go inside to get a Mexican coke on the glass bottle. We stopped at Sterino Farms this past weekend to shop for fruit, pepper plants and this burger stand. Everything worked out well. We shared a Jack burger w/ fries and a banana shake. The burger was tremendous and quite messy (that's a good thing). The fries were generously portioned and perfectly cooked. The banana shake was serviceable. For those familiar with local burger stands in the Fife/Puyallup area, we normally stop at P-Quick for our burger fix. Both are great choices. I really like the dill pickles and sauce on Jake's burger and the fries are certainly more crisp. The P-Quick shake has fractionally better texture and consistency but Jake's give you a really large straw to avoid clogging. Overall, you cannot go wrong with either choice. We will definitely have more of Jake's delicious food. Best advice to minimize the wait while your food is handmade: Order before doing your other shopping. They'll give you a wireless buzzer to let you know when to pick up...

My mom (a lifelong Fife resident/Sterino's customer) and her nurse came to get a hamburger to celebrate her 90th birthday on a Thursday two weeks ago. Long story short, after waiting over 30 minutes for their food, it still wasn't ready. Her nurse had to get to another appointment, so they asked if they could just have a refund. They were told they could either continue to wait or forfeit their money. They had no choice but to leave; my mom was very disappointed.
