We stumbled upon Philly’s Burger Stop in Fillmore, Utah on opening day, and wow—this place is a must-try! Located where the iconic Cluff’s Carhop used to be, it’s serving up classic roadside vibes with fresh burgers, crispy fries, and shakes that hit the spot. Perfect little stop for your next I-15 road trip! #travelwithkids #adventure #utah #FillmoreUtah #fillyscarhop #UtahEats #RoadTripEats #BurgerLovers #FoodieStop #HiddenGems #TravelUtah #SmallTownEats #RoadsideDiner #AdventureFamilyVlog #FamilyTravelEats #OpeningDayEats #CluffsCarhop #I15RoadTrip #BurgerStop #supportlocaleats

Food was good and made for a fun break up on our drive from Northern Utah to Vegas. #roadtrip

Filly’s Car Hop Cafe may be a new name, but it’s the same familiar place we’ve always loved — only better! This used to be Cluff’s, and the new owner and employees have done an amazing job. The food is even better than before. The french fries are at the top of my list — so crispy and Fry sauce is simply delicious. The burgers are outstanding, and the menu is full of great options with simply great food. Don’t forget to grab a soda, just for the ice — it’s the perfect touch. This is absolutely a must-stop when traveling through Fillmore, well worth the quick detour off of I-15. ***prior review of Cliff's Carhop Cafe...Cluff’s Carhop Cafe is a hidden gem for travelers along the I-15, but it’s been a long-time favorite for locals. The food is great, with a menu full of classic comfort food, and the service is truly exceptional. Whether you’re passing through or a regular, Cluff’s offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back. Perfect for a quick stop or a laid-back meal.***

We've tried to stop here multiple times as we've driven through Fillmore. Google and other sites show they are open until 8 pm, but they were closed at 6:30 pm. For the sake of all those who go out of their way from the freeway to stop here, it would be nice if they'd keep their hours accurate online.

Update I'm updating my review after the owner or manager's response below. First, I'd encourage you to search the other 1-star reviews. Many others have similar negative experiences to ours with the business being closed at times you'd expect it to be open. The business always responds with something along the lines of "how could you be so insensitive that we need to close for .....reason." This was our third (and final) attempt at trying to eat here when they were "open" only to find them closed.

Personally, I don't care when a business chooses to be open or closed, but just don't mislead people. The business owner's response sarcastically apologizes for having people "go a mile out of the way" to find the restaurant closed. Granted, a mile isn't that far, but when you pass up other dining options on a road trip to stop at one in the next town, it's incredibly frustrating when you now have three hungry kids in the car and have to devise a new plan. Unfortunately, this business doesn't seem to mind inconveniencing potential customers.

My response to the business's comment about "negative reviews hurting small business" are these two free pieces of business advice: 1) "Closed doors during business hours hurts business far more than negative reviews." 2) Stop whining about the negative reviews and listen to...

My husband and I are from Mesquite, Nevada, and my two brothers are from Ogden, Utah. We decided to meet halfway in Fillmore to celebrate my brother, Tom's, 80th birthday. Upon my search, I found Cluff's, and made this our destination.

I, first, called and spoke with Tabitha, to ensure they were going to be open, and let her know our plans. Her pleasing demeanor over the phone was wonderful, and it assured me that this was going to be "the" place.

Let me tell you that it was the best destination birthday ever! This place, and its setting is like entering a "happy" portal where everyone, including staff and customers, are here for the happy, and it's magical! The outdoor setting is warm, inviting, and comfy with huge sunflowers in the garden.

The food was absolutely incredible (fried mushrooms yum!) and Tabitha had a delightful sense of humor, and brought my husband a secret sauce to try with his reuben sandwich. My brother, Jeff, said he wanted a small sundae, and she said that she would try to do "small", but couldn't guarantee it.😊 The birthday boy wasn't eating sweets, but Tabitha decided that he needed something special, so she brought him a munchkin-size sundae with a candle on top! And a customer came by and sang happy birthday! The magic kept continuing!🪄

Thank you owners and superb staff for making this day magical and unforgettable!!!! Tom told my brother, Jeff, on the ride back to Ogden that it was the best day ever! Once you experience "happy," you gotta go back, and we,...
