Westside Pizza — Restaurant in Fircrest

DEATH BY PIZZA was the only reason I go to this place. So this is all this post is about. I've been eating it every month for awhile now. I've even been caught by my regular pizza house employee walking into this place and all I ever tell them is make a pizza with this large amount of toppings and I won't return to Westside. Well the last 3 months the amount of toppings has went down after the prices were raised. 42.93 for only 1 pizza and after ordering by phone and pick it up myself they want a tip added onto the bill. I'm a 18% tipper at a set down restaurant. But to walk into a restaurant and picking your food up at the counter they want a tip. Well now it's come to the point I can pay less by paying extra for more toppings at my go to pizza house in Fircrest. I think today was the last time I'm picking up death by pizza and then driving down the street to pick up our other pizzas from a family gathering. Yes people there is better pizza within 3 miles. Pull up Google and do some research and you won't be disappointed. We had a good long run death by pizza but I've got to move to bigger and better. 6/27/24 I had the owner reach out to me and give me a GREAT explanation for why they were having problems and it came down to training and that individual isn't there anymore. He also offered me a free death by pizza. But the portion scoops are different for the death by pizza than the normal scoops for every other pizza. I waited a month before going and getting my free pizza and it was back to the good ol day standards. Then to see if it was put together right because it was free I had my daughter order 1 yesterday and pick it up on her way to see me and it was up to ol day standards. Owner addressed the problem and made it right with me the customer. So I'm very impressed by the outcome of this ordeal. I will continue eating my favorite pizza. DEATH BY PIZZA. I have ordered from Westside Pizza on Orchard in Fircrest and I had no problems, except for February 24th. I ordered a pizza to go and tried to use a Coupon "Pizza50". I told the employee that I wanted to use that Coupon and 990 customers have used it according to their website. I was told to wait so that they could talk to their manager. They placed me on hold. I waited and they still did not answer me. Since I ordered a carry out, I was still on my cell phone, so I went down to Westside Pizza because it was only about 1 mile for me. I went into the pizza placed and I was still on hold and I ask them if they were going to answer my phone to them, since I was still on hold. He gave me a lame excuse and he said that he had no knowledge of that call. I was placed on hold for over 8 minutes. I finally told him he, that he could hang up now. He knew that I was still on hold because his line was showing that I was still on. I will never return to this place again because of them lying to me and the lack of customer service. My advice to customers ordering pizza, from Westside, think about how Westside Pizza treated me and if they did that to me, they will do it to other customers. I lhave no trust and respect in a business that will lie in my face. I hope management reads my comments and have the courage to call me. 4/22/22. This is my first time going to Westside Pizza off orchard Street and I had received a free card in the mail for moving that was a free medium two topping pizza so I decided to give him a try. We couldn't decide if we wanted Canadian bacon and pineapple or pepperoni and mushroom so the young girl that took my order allowed me to get a half and half with no extra charge and I did upgrade to a large from The medium that was free and it was only $6 more the pizza is awesome the crust is good it was cooked all the way through they put a little bit of spices on the top to add a little pizzazz which was kind of nice a little more authentic than just the regular slap on some sauce pizza place plenty of cheese I didn't have to put any extra on I totally recommend you guys checking out west side Pizza and you can always upgrade to get bread sticks or they have wings all types of things they have carryout or I believe they have delivery so check them out tonight for your...
