This Mexican restaurant is in my old hometown, so I've been coming here since I was little. The food tastes okay. The customer service isn't the same or as great as it used to be. The size of our dishes were smaller than they used to be. The chips and salsa are delicious! I ordered the green chile Verde cheese enchiladas with all rice (no beans), and it was delicious. I LOVE the lettuce and Parmesan cheese they add to the dishes. I also got a water to drink and it was tap water and tastes really bad so I ended up ordering a raspberry tea which was really sweet...

Never in my life did I expect to be served a carne asada burrito that was... 100% shredded beef, wrapped in a tortilla. I'm not kidding. The only ingredient in the burrito was carne asada. At least a pound of it. I love meat as much as the next guy, but I was kind of expecting other things like... y'know, beans, rice, salsa, onions, cheese, sour cream. Anything else, really. My family and I been going to Firebaugh restaurant for over 20 years best salsa and chips in the world. Chile Verde is great but the machaca is my favorite and the shredded beef tacos are to kill for. Many people say the Chile rellenos are very good but I never had them. I recommend this place to anyone traveling thru the city...
