The Merc — Restaurant in Flandreau Township

Stopped for lunch, as our usual lunch spot happened to be closed. The burger I had was dry, sooo dry. Apparently, they smoke them and then cook them to well done. They do have a disclaimer that says the burger can look pink due to the smoke... Doesn't look pink in my picture. I also decided to try the meatball sandwich, that was ok, but nothing special. The fries were black on the ends like they use an air fryer to cook them or an oven, not sure which. My daughter had a cheese pizza, she wouldn't eat it because it "tasted weird". I tried that as well and wasn't terrible but nothing that would...

Bar like. We left without ordering at the bar as instructed by the sign at the door. IfI wanted to wait on myself I would do it at home. First impression was, you are to cheap to hire wait staff so you probably cut other corners as well.

Editing my review was to answer your questions about my experience. Thank you for noting that we left without ordering food or waiting on ourselves. Maybe now you see my problem with your failing business model.

My husband and I went in for dinner prior to a show at Royal River. I had the Berry Big Dill burger, my husband had The Merc burger, and we shared rattlesnake fries. Food was outstanding! The table next to us had pizza and it looked really good as well. Laid back atmosphere and the bar manager checked on us a couple of times. Very friendly folks running this place. Definitely...
