Angry Pepper Taphouse — Restaurant in Florida

I went here for an order pickup, everyone else I ordered for, their food was fine. I got 10 wings, 16.00!!! The price was high but I was hopeful they would be good. Since this was takeout and this place is like a 10-15 minute drive for me, I was stuck with what I got when I got home and let me just say, the wings were nearly raw. They were seared nicely, the flavor of the sauce they used was great, but the chicken itself I couldn’t eat. I’m attaching some photos so you can see how red/pink the chicken is inside. After looking them all over I’ve decided I don’t even want to chance trying to find however many few are actually cooked I don’t want to get sick. I called the store, I know they were busy I’m really not trying to be a Karen it’s Friday night I get it, but I could hear the cook in the background with an attitude saying stuff about them being smoked wings and they’re supposed to be this way yadda yadda. I’ve had wings at angry pepper on the beach I’ve had smoked wings, this is NOT right. These are legit undercooked. Period. See the photos for yourself. Anyways they refused to do anything for me over the phone but there was no manager on duty just some long term employees so they were limited with their options whatever. They told me I have to physically drive back to the restaurant when the owners are there to get a refund on my 16.00 wings. Just really annoyed how this was all handled and I’m the only one who doesn’t get dinner tonight because the wings don’t come with...

TAKE OUT??? CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING!

-- The tried to give me someone else's meal of fish tacos (which I would have barfed had it gone into my house) They didn't check my food and once I paid, they didn't hand me my food. I had to ask for it, then when they did, I got a bag of 2 meals, not 3 like I phoned in.

We have been wanting to try this place out for a while. After the meal, we are skeptical whether to give another try or not.

We ordered:

1 Adult BBQ Brisket plate 1 Adult chicken strips salad 1 kids chicken strips.

Lets begin with the Kids Chicken Strips. ---- These tasted like FISH! Must have been cooked in the same oil as the fish. Of course this should be verboten anywhere you go. Otherwise the size and taste would have been fine.

---the salad.. when comparing the "chicken fingers in the kids meal to the "chicken fingers on the salad. there is NO COMPARISON. It was more like Chicken bite chunks on the salad... not the same thing was disappointing. Of course the corresponding fish taste didn't help either.

The Brisket,- asked for lean.. got lots of fat! Otherwise the taste was good. got baked beans and waffle fries as sides. The baked beans were a bit small in my opinion. The meat portion was sufficient though. I prefer steak fries with BBQ, but the closest to a real french fry is their waffle fry which looks a lot like a Chick fil- A fry.

Horrible. Have been there twice in the last week. The first night was busy. The tabs were all messed up for a large table. I ordered ribs. They were so dry and then I asked for wet naps and the server said they don't have any wet naps. What BBQ place does not have wet naps? Also, the music was obnoxiously loud. We went back tonight with friends against our better judgement. Service was awful. We had one guy serve us. Then he disappeared. We saw all the servers chatting at the bar while no one came to see if the drinks that were empty for a half of an hour needed to be refilled. We had to go up to the bar a total of three times to get drink refills. We were served by three different people, but waited a long time in between for service. The place was not even busy. Only 4 tables and 4 people at the bar. One of our waitresses was outside sitting at a table talking to people for a long time. I suggest a manager be on the premises and see how awful the service is. It's like three people were serving us, but all assumed the other was taking care of our table but no one was. It's unacceptable to have to go up to the bar 3 times for drinks because your server does not stop by. We...
