I recently visited Baby's Coffee in Key West, and to say that my experience was unpleasant would be an understatement. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a server who could only be described as rude and inhospitable. Their lack of basic customer service skills was astounding, and it set the tone for the entire visit.

First and foremost, the cleanliness of this establishment was deeply concerning. The place was filthy and appeared to be grossly neglected. Tables were covered in a thick layer of grime, and I hesitated to even place my belongings on the surface. The floors were sticky and scattered with crumbs, suggesting a severe lack of attention to hygiene. It was an outright assault on the senses, and I found it difficult to stomach anything in such an unsanitary environment.

As I attempted to order, the server's dismissive attitude further exacerbated my frustration. They seemed disinterested in assisting customers, opting to converse amongst themselves instead of acknowledging our presence. It felt as though our presence inconvenienced them, and their complete lack of professionalism was not only disappointing but also disrespectful.

To make matters worse, the quality of the coffee did not make up for the deplorable service and uncleanliness. The taste was lackluster at best, and I couldn't help but wonder if the poor maintenance of the establishment extended to their preparation methods as well. It was clear that attention to detail and quality control were not priorities at Baby's Coffee.

Overall, my visit to Baby's Coffee in Key West was an absolute nightmare. The rude server, the filth and unsanitary conditions, and the subpar coffee all combined to create an experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. I strongly advise anyone looking for a pleasant coffee shop experience to steer clear of this establishment. There are plenty of other options in Key West that value their customers and maintain a clean and...

We visited on a Monday afternoon in late December 2024. This is a cool little shop right off the main road in the keys. We were driving to Key West the first time we stopped by and enjoyed it so much we had to stop by again on the way back to Key Largo.

The store sells a number of different things in addition to the coffee like pastry and sandwiches. The staff were all very welcome and accommodating and easy to talk to. The place was hoping and filled with people both times we visited. One of which was on Christmas Day.

We ordered: Santa's Helper (Dark chocolate peppermint cold brew; amazing) Eggnog Latte (not a fan of eggnog but kids and wife loved it) Cookie Butter Frozen Coffee Beverage (It was okay, i got my fix) Oreo Cookie Butter Milkshake (kids loved it) Cuban Bagel (honestly it was a little meh for the price) Key Lime Beignet (glad i tried it but it was a little dry) Key Lime Pie Dipped Chocolate popsicles (amazing and cheaper here than in Key West; I'd eat one every day)

All the drinks were great, which is why we stopped by again on the way back. Also couldn't help buy purchase the Key Lime Pie Dipped Chocolate Popsicle. It was soo good. We saw them again in Key West but for a couple $ more. So get it here! They also had other pastry items which looked good. We did end up ordering the Cuban Bagel and Key Lime Beignet. The Cuban Bagel was a little meh for the price honestly. The Key Lime Beignet was also a little dry. I think personally I'd stick to the coffees and drinks. I don't remember what we order the second time we stopped. I think a lot of repeats and also a smoothie.

Don't miss out on the new Baby's Grill food truck just outside in the parking lot either. Delicious food and the owners are nice and fun to...

THE OWNER OF THIS BUSINESS DOESNT CARE THAT THEIR STAFF TREATS THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE GARBAGE!!! WHAT AN AWFUL, DIRTY FACILITY, INSIDE AND OUT. Trash “coffee shop” AND TRASH MANAGEMENT.

**UPDATE TO MY REVIEW: look at the owner’s response! Do you see that? Unprofessional and rude, just like the front counter. Maybe if I was a man I’d be treated differently. Save your money and go to Cuban Coffee Queen for a WAY better, friendlier experience . At least they’re respectful. “Olga” the owner needs to learn how to run a business PROFESSIONALLY! Look at the rest of the reviews talking about the nasty attitudes of the “baristas”. This “business owner” HONESTLY THINKS that the employees of this business are going to rat themselves out about being rude to customers. Instead of working on themselves as a business, they point the finger and blame THE PEOPLE MAKING THEM MONEY. DISGUSTING. Work on your business, lady! Trash!

The blond taking my order at the counter was disgustingly rude. What was funny is she was REALLY nice to the gentlemen in front of me and then the one after me. So, if you’re a woman, expect the lady at the front counter to be rude. Really sad way to “welcome” folks to the lower keys. The co-owner responds to reviews as if he’s arguing 🤦🏻‍♀️ what a terrible way to run a business. Get some nice, happy, non-discriminate people...
