I took my mom (by her request) on Mother's Day. We have had many meals at this restaurant and each time, been a little less impressed. Mom wanted a salad. I asked the server if salads were inclusive in the Mother's Day deal they offered. She told me yes, as long as it was under $10. Mom wanted a salad that was $9.99. Having been a server myself, I understand when a restaurant is busy and understaffed the service sometimes suffers. There were five tables sat when we came in and ten when we left with several servers on the floor. We were never offered refills for our drinks or checked on and I had to MAKE our server pre-bus the empty plates, napkins, sauces, and utensils. Toward the end of our meal, the server just dropped the check and as she turned to walk away I asked my mom if she wanted dessert. It was only then that the server had interest in us. I wondered why. Mom chose Molten Lava cake. When the server brought the dessert, she dropped the check. Mom was enjoying herself as she watched the vanilla ice cream do its job and melt in with what should have been hot fudge, but instead was a Hershey's syrup knock off. I tasted the dessert. Frankly, Chili's makes the best. When I looked at the check the server not only had NOT removed mom's complimentary salad, but also charged us $2.00 for a scoop of ice cream. As someone who has never missed a dessert in my life, I can tell you that Molten Lava cake's whole design centers on the moment the cold ice cream meets the hot fudge. A fact I kept to myself until our SERVER (if that's what we should call her) returned with the manager. The manager handed me the bill and explained that she removed my chicken wings, not the salad because they were cheaper. Then, she began trying to explain why there was a charge for the ice cream. I stopped her and expressed the expectation of good service was worth much more than the wings AND ice cream costs. I paid the bill and left the low percentage of 18% tip (if the server had actually served us she would have gotten 25%... and that's on the whole bill before discounts THANK YOU VERY MUCH). I said to the manager on our way out that we would not be back. I didn't get the...
Read moreI’ve had food at this place about 4 times, food is good, however I had a terrible experience this evening. I placed my order at about 703pm for pick up, was told it would be ready in about 15-20 minutes, not a problem. I get to the restaurant and it’s super busy, understandably the wait will be longer, ok. The manager and a waitress took my name at two different points in time during my wait, so two people knew I was waiting for pick up. During all this I notice there’s a table right across from the bar where they just have to bags of cooked food just sitting there. Waitresses, bar tenders and the manager all pass by there, time and time again, nobody bothering to check the names on the bags or to see if the names on the bags are of people already in the restaurant waiting. Food just sitting there. About 20-25 minutes pass and I’m still waiting. I see a waitress and let her know I placed my order about 40 minutes ago for pick up and have been waiting. She takes my name and checks all the orders just sitting on the table across the bar, and she walks over to me and hands it to me. I was shocked that the food I ordered was in fact on that table this whole time I was waiting at the restaurant and 2 people that work there knew I was there waiting. Obviously the food was cold from just sitting there, so I handed it back and said “this food is cold, this is not ok”. Her response was “ok” and she walked away. At no time did she acknowledge or apologize for the wait or for the cold food or even try and suggest to have to food...

The restaurant looked like it was in need of some repair. The glass/ wood partition was sooo dusty it turned my finger black as I ran it along the wood section. Waited at least 10 min before we were even recognized and that was by the owner, who was the only bright spot in this whole dismal experience. She came over and apologized profusely once she learned we had been sitting there for a while without any menus or drink order. Despite the fact that it was a Saturday about 6pm there were only 6-8 people in the whole place. It took about 30-40 min to get our order which consisted of the roast beef garlic press sandwich with fries. My food tasted terrible. The beef tasted like it was old and had been microwaved, and the only garlic butter was on the inside of the sandwich and was very salty. I've eaten at several beef o bradys and always order this sandwich, which has always been my go to fav. After a while an additional server came out but she might as well have been MIA. Never came by to ask how our meal was or if we needed anything. My hubby ran out of sweet tea and had to flag her down to get a refill. Her attitude came across as unbothered and uncaring. It's sad because it looks like the owner does care about her business but unfortunately the people she has put in place to be in the front line are seriously lacking and seem to be more of a hindrance to her business than an attribute. Not a smile or a friendly staff member in the whole place other...
