Big Romans Pizza — Restaurant in Florida

This past Friday evening, I went to BIG ROMANS PIZZA in Barefoot Bay for 2 slices of pizza, one veggie and one extra cheese. Upon entering, I saw a familiar face that I had not seen in years...I went to say "hello" to the person but she did not acknowledge that she recognized me...no biggie..this happens! As I waited for my food, I noticed that employee watching me and making comments to the employees that were doing the cooking...of course did not know anything that was being said, so I dismissed it. When I got my food, I did not open the box until I got into my car...it was absolutely the most disgusting mess that I had ever been served...I took the food back into the restaurant and asked for a refund after showing who may have been the manager/owner the ridiculous mess of a meal...one of the employees whispered something to him while I was standing there, he quickly glanced over at the woman who took my order and seemed not to remember me, and he focused his attention back to me. While I was waiting, one of the employees called to a gentlemen waiting for his pizza to let him know that it was ready...when he came to the counter, the employee opened the pizza box and asked him how it looked, THIS WAS THE SAME EMPLOYEE WHO GAVE ME MY FOOD, BUT DID NOT DO THIS FOR ME. I was not asked if I wanted a replacement "which i most certainly would not have taken". My order was voided out and told to have a good night. It was very apparent that the woman knew who I was and I wholeheartedly believe that there was tampering done to my food. I have absolutely eaten at the establishment before and the food was great. I am sad that in this day, people can be so nasty as to do something potentially harmful or questionable to someone's food. BY NO MEANS am I saying that I saw anyone do anything to my food, but I have included a picture of the pizza that was given to me and I KNOW that what I received was not what was being served to others in that restaurant that evening... I don't know what the issue could have been with this woman, but I do know that if you go to that restaurant and you see her and you KNOW HER PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND STAND AND WATCH YOUR FOOD BEING...

Unfortunately, I have to even give this place a star. So many nights I have ordered from here and never had a problem. I have always loved this place until the customer service took a dump on the phone. When I clear as day state my order with a not-so-noisy background on my end I should have everything ordered. So, when you know that someone is a regular ignorant remarks should not be made or passed off because oh I don't know, you're scared to reply to your customer about making it right. I have NEVER denied something so simple to avoid a business relationship and keep a bridge for my business partners that I work with and it is innumerable. Customer service is a big deal to a lot of people and just knowing that because someone is too scared and won't listen and assume it goes straight to escalation is beyond me. especially when you call me, "hunny, sweetie" or anything to my face. Big thumbs down on the customer service tonight. It will forever impact my opinion on how clients are treated during service related issues. If you want good customer service, this is not your place. I will never order from here again and I have spent so much money here. Countless. Might I add there is a review below that states that any problem that happens is directly focused back to the customer. That in itself is absurd and poor customer service. I really don't recommend buying from a place that is treating customer's unfairly. At least the joint next to them will serve more for purchasing extra. I think that's where my money will go. You lost good money Big Roman's. It's been real. China Wok will definitely do a better job, they're more caring anyway. We wound up getting what was missing in the end, but again, I really am disinterested from ever ordering here again. And you know my face and you know how pleasant I always was and never minded spending $50.00 a pop some times for my big family. Thank you for making it right in the end but this is a big...

Horrible people they always say there are out of some thing. i called an hour n 10 mins befor they closed and they said they cant cook wings and the first time i was there said i wanted pizza lightly cooked and crazy eyed guy gave me dirty look and asked me why i wanted it cooked that way. Who does that?? i feel bad for the owner bc his staff is Definitely hurting more then helping and another time crazy eye took my order and left off my spaghetti and meat ball dinner when that was the first thing i ordered then i went all they way home then drove back and they were closeing and said he forgot to charge me so instead of cooking it they said sorry cant help you. The lastest time i ordered i wanted 2 slices of pizza and they said they ran out. Now how can you say you have small medium and large pizzas for sale but yet you cant cut me some slices of pizza. What is wrong with these people. They must hate having my business or just hate their jobs and love being difficult and lazy. It blows my mind. I have never had so many issues with one restaruant in my life. Oh and before i forget everytime i have ordered wings and asked for ranch they ALWAYS give me blue cheese now how hard is it to give a customer the correct sauce that should be the most simple task they have and they ask if you want blue cheese or ranch. WHY? I have tryed to get past their mess ups but what the heck how many times does it take to fail at your job before people just give up on the business...
