It’s very convenient to have a kosher meat place in Boynton, but the convenience goes down the drain when factoring in everything else about this restaurant. I think the main problem is they can’t decide if they are a nice sit down place or a casual shwarma joint, either of which would be great, but you can be both. It takes about an hour from the time of arrival to when food is served to you, but most of the menu items are fast food style that take a few minutes to prepare. My father ordered a shwarma plate, which is $26 btw, and only came with Israeli salad, a serving of shwarma and fries (he wanted rice but they were out). Put the simplicity of the dish in contrast to the price aside, we are willing to compromise for local kosher food, but his dish took over an hour to come out, and it came out 15 minutes after everyone else received their pitas. כמה זמן זה לוקח לשים שווארמה על צלחת?? Besides that, the pitas always come out cold and premade. It is understandable that the general population of the restaurant doesn’t want to get up and look at the Salatim and tell them what they want (which I think would be more authentic and efficient) , but there is never options given. The pita always comes out with cold humus and israel salad on one side and the meat on the other which techina on top. Anyone who has walked by the counter knows there is an arrangement of salatim, but they have never been offered as an option to put in the pita.
This restaurant needs to change in one of two ways for my family, who is a Boynton beach kosher keeping family, to return, and for us to recommend it to our friends. If not, it will still be more convienient to go to boca. Either they need to fully embrace being a casual shwarma joint as the majority of other place like this in Florida do: have people come right in and order at the counter immediately to the person who is serving. Then people can go sit at whichever table they would like and wait for their food, until they are called up to tell them how they want their pita prepared. This way works incredibly well at every schwarma place in israel. If the restaurant want to be a sit down place to appeal to American etticute, then they need to embrace it and include more sit down style dishes on their menu that aren’t just pita sandwhiches without the bread. And they MUST provide a pitcher of water to the table. It is ridiculous that at a supposedly sit down restaurant, where you receive real silverware, real glasses and real plates, that you can only get water by ordering a plastic water bottle. If it was a casual walk in place, no problem, but alas it is not.

I recently visited Bissli Grill with my son, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the vibrant and authentic Israeli atmosphere, complete with Israeli music playing in the background. It truly felt like we were transported to a bustling Tel Aviv eatery.
We ordered the pita with shawarma, and it did not disappoint. The shawarma was delicious, with perfectly balanced spices that showcased the true essence of Israeli cuisine. It was undoubtedly one of the best I've ever had!
Apart from the shawarma, Bissli Grill offers a huge variety of fresh salads and an extensive menu featuring other classic dishes, like couscous. I am already planning my next visit to try out more of their incredible offerings!
The service at Bissli Grill was fast and excellent, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
I cannot recommend Bissli Grill enough for anyone looking to experience the wonderful flavors of Israeli cuisine. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to give this gem a try - you won't be...
Read moreGreat new spot to eat Mediterranean food in West Boynton Beach. The food was REALLY good with the hummus being creamy and the pita bread being freshly baked. We had 2 platters, one with falafels and other with chicken thighs. All was fresh and tasty with healthy portions. I would say that a couple can probably share 1 appetizer and platter and be full at the end. Its a small place but seems big enough to not have long waits normally. I think most negative reviews aren’t considering that its only been open like a week or two and EVERYONE seems to want to have lunch here, it will calm down soon id guess. Service was good with 2 wait staff which serve you at table and clean afterwards as well. Highly recommend to all if you are tired of eating at the same 10+ Italian restaurants located near. Misc facts: Located in shopping strip Offers take out Indoor and outdoor shaded seating Not much in accessibility tech but is located on first floor...
