Bob Evans — Restaurant in Florida

I like Bob Evan's! Not 5 star because I keep getting bad service but never really had bad food. And wait time is usually always good. Management usually fixes a problem, but it seems like too many good employees dont get recognized. The ones who dont care have the backbone position and most pay. In result, making tomorrow's leader quit before they come to fruition. I've spent many years in and out of restaurants and I know that is the problem I see most with Bob Evan's. But I still like their food and atmosphere. I could build a team of employees and fill a region with them that would fix that problem. Because I know how to lead. I dont get why today's leaders just refuse to be leaders in the midst of this generation coming up. Almost every issue at a cooperate level now dsys takes someone my age or older with experience to intervene and fix or bridge the gaps between younger and older workers as well as younger workers and customers. Good luck Bob Evan's. Look me up for help. I would gladly take the opportunity and do it with my eyes closed store by store. Talent search! Lol, theres my resume temporarily until notified later. Good food, good breads, good soups, merchandising is okay but I could do better in that as well. I watch these things because I like business. I am a business freak. Love proving a point as well. We had the worse server in the world. It took her only about 7 minutes to come take our order and 15 minutes we asked the hostess if SHE could please bring us our soup and salad, she told our server to bring it to us and it still took her 5+ minutes and she got BOTH incorrect---I ordered vegetable beef and got creamy potato, he asked for extra salad dressing but did not get it. She finally brought me the correct soup but still no extra dressing. We did not get our bread or cookie or beverage refills and she walked right past our table many times, we were 2 of her 6 customers. He had to ask her for our bill 4 times and she finally handed it to him.

I complained to management about our service and food situations, she, of course, apologized and explained she is new and all they get from customers are complaints. They are better off without this server because then there is a legit reason for very slow service.

I have to admit other than the film on the gravy from sitting under the hot lamp too long and my soup being tepid our food was delicious. The country fried steak was so tender we cut it with our fork, afer we scraped off the film covered gravy, the green beans were fresh and delicious and after scraping the gravy off the cold potatoes, bringing them along with half of the steak home and heating them in the microwave, they were very tasty.

Just wanted everyone to know that my Husband and I went to this location of Bob Evans today, we waited for only about 15 mins before seated :busy Sunday.We ordered and the watier came over and said, " They were going to make a fesh Oatmeal for me and would we like him to bring out my husband's food along with my fuit cup I ordered with my oatmeal/toast," we said, " yes". I watched my husband eat his entire meal and yet no Oatmeal. Other tables were eating when they came in after us, I thought maybe they forgot me. My husband asked the waiter, " how much longer for the Oatmeal, he said he would be right back which he was and they were making it and soon as it was done he would bring right over" well lots of time passed by when My husband and waved the waiter to come over and we told him, "we have to go and meet friends at a certain time and could not be late, just take off the Oatmeal and toast we have to go now. " To our suprise, The Manager, Ms.Smith came over, was kind and had a great smile, with a fresh loaf of Banana Bread Free for the breakfeast I ordered and Never received. The manager then gave us our Receipt and we did make it to our Friends on time. We are from Erie, Pa and will go back to this Bob Evans, My husband said, " His breakfeast was very good.
