Came in for breakfast had Vannah as our server, she brings a whole new level to bad service, attitude then more attitude completed with even more attitude. If only that was the only problem, took order was when I asked her if I could get blueberry protein pancakes for side said there was a up charge, I said OK then she repeated herself 3 more times, until I finally told her yes, I can afford the upcharge, Thank you. Then never gone.... After the tables surrounding us who ordered and were seated after us had food and they were proceeding to check out, we asked a different sever where our food was, told 2 more tickets infront of ours(Vannah came by as she walked past blurted with attitude I put the order in) ( pretty sure she delayed putting in), then had to ask a different server for refill drinks while still waiting on food, yet another server for silverware once food came out. My pancakes didn't arrive with my meal and I had completely ate egg portion of meal, then pancakes (cold) to my order came out by then everyone had ate. Then yet another server to get boxes. She saw us standing up to leave made no attempt to take care of cashing out check. We went up front she shows up with saying (because I was telling another server what was going on "I am right here", litterly had major attitude, stuck her nose up in air (arrogance) just like she did when she finally brought food nose up dropped walked past, when she brought out missing food dropped and walked, nose in air ( arrogance) Never once asked about our food. Came to table only to drop order and leave food. I told her you haven't been here the entire time told her about all the other servers who assisted us. I gave her the card to pay, nose up in air walked across to her station pointing and taking about how horrible we were just wow. Has employee level become so desperate that you allow your customers to be treated disrespectfuly when they come in and eat, which oddly enough keeps you and them in...
Read moreWe have been coming here literally for years and have never had an issue. We went today, and everything seemed fine until my husband cut into his eggs. He ordered “over medium” but it literally looked raw and spilled on the rest of his food. On my way to taking my daughter to the bathroom I told our server “vannah” about the situation. She apologized & got us a new plate. To be honest I was very grossed out and sick to my stomach because it honestly looked gross. Fast forward again, this time the eggs looked over easy. We sent it back & heard them yelling in the kitchen so we just told her to cancel his food because it didn’t seem like it was gonna be right a 3rd time. A few minutes later a woman who we later found out was the manager “Joy” came to the table. Never introduced herself. She just started talking at us about how we didn’t order correctly. And that it was indeed over medium. When we explained what it was, she just huffed away. A few minutes later ANOTHER woman came to our table and said the entire bill was taken care of and that they closed out our check. We never asked for free food, we just wanted our breakfast. She said that the manager didnt want to talk further do to us cursing. My husband and I never once cursed or raised our voices. We never even asked for a manager. She said we really wanted “over medium hard” eggs. Which honestly makes no sense. How can they be medium if they’re hard? We left. Our children ate. My husband and I didn’t. It was unfortunate. They never asked us what happened or if they can remedy the situation. I left almost in tears because of how rude “Joy & Dawn” treated us. Normally our go to but I don’t think we’ll go back to...
Read moreABSOLUTELY THE WORST DISPLAY OF COSTUMER SERVICE: I really don’t know what happened to ethicists, but when it comes to breakfast options, the options are endless. Choosing IHOP today was a mistake I’ll always regret. When you are greeted with a stained “what are you having” vs a welcoming greeting of (Welcome to IHOP, my name is …… have you been here before? Would you like to know our specials today? May I start you with orange juice, coffee, milk?, we have a problem. This sense of entitlement and robotic service is driving business away. Servers are the 1st and last impression guests have of your establishment. Furthermore, once the order came, there was no condiment suggestion ( would you like ketchup, hot sauce, sugar-free syrup?) Not once did she come back to see if everything was okay or if I needed more creamers or water. I had to ask another young lady for a glass of water (Angela) before I was even done; she brought the check without asking me if there was anything else I wanted or if I may want to place a to-go order. Once I paid, she never brought back a receipt; I had to ask someone else for it . The point of this entire comment is not only to make you aware but to also let you know that there are many ways you can increase productivity and profitability by just having the right set of customer service principles. One person who stood out was ANGELA. I watched her provide exemplary customer service and is a person you need to confide in. She is supervisor material (I’ve already shared the server’s name with corporate, but I’m hesitant to mention it here in case she decides to...
