I ate here for the first time because me and my boyfriend go out for breakfast atleast twice week and wanted to try somewhere new and I just have to say the breakfast was terrible. I swear they had an egg shortage or something not only did two omelette meals cost 20$ (which would be fine if it was worth it ) but I swear my omelette was egg skin and chunks of ham I didn't have one piece of flaky egg in the whole omellete they had so much butter smothering the omellete toast and home fries it was nauseating and his hashbrowbs were burnt . I usually don't complain but I always leave reviews good or bad and I feel people shouldn't be tricked by such good reviews to eat here and then come to find out that they are so cheap On EGGS . The cook really must have made the whole thing with one egg I'm not even kidding you. I only gave two stars because whoever the woman is that answered the phone was very nice and helpful even though they said their managers were on vacation . Not sure how they can afford a vacation if they can't afford eggs but maybe that's why they're being so Chincy on eggs to make up for...
Read moreWe thought we would try Broken Yolk after not going a year or two. Because it can be loud. (Can't be helped.) Being a establishment like it is it's understandable. Laid back atmosphere. We just could not believe while we're eating our breakfast, (the table under the TV, near the cash register.) As we were eating, my husband said; oh my gosh! There's a cockroach crawling on the wall by you! I thought he may be kidding!! Then I see it going under a picture. I tap the picture and it came out and then another one!?! I have pictures on my phone. (We have been told by the Pest Professionals 1. You should not be seeing any at all if the establishment is doing their control correctly. The smaller the roach, the filthier the establishment will be.) To prove what we saw we have posted the photos.🤢 Did we say anything? No. We paid and left! Should we have complained? Yes! But!! We don't believe they would of done anything! We do feel we have to share this by telling others. Which...
Read moreCalled this morning for a Togo breakfast burrito with Home fries. To start I live around the corner but never go to broken yolk. I usually stop at Wawa for breakfast burrito. Today I called, the server was very polite and helpful over the phone. I wish I got her name she was excellent! She actually helped me order. Asked me how I like my burrito... Huh never been asked that before. You want a meat? Yes! You want veggies? Yes! Do you like it spicy? That part WOWed me. Yes! I showed up about 6-7min later. Another very nice lady server helped cash me out. While the the sever who took my order said it's just another minute. Do you want salsa? Yes! This is awesome! I get home and this better than Chipotle looking burrito is in my box. It's grilled on both sides. Yum! The burrito itself huge! I am a 280 lbs man and I didn't eat lunch today.... Thank you so much broken yolk. I will be seeing you...
