Horrible service!! Rude waitresses.

Being respectful, we went inside to ask someone if we just seat ourselves. It took 10 minutes and being ignored by the same 2 waitresses multiple times before I finally just told them I just need to know if we seat ourselves or not. Once we showed ourselves to a table and waited some more, we got a very unwelcoming waitress ask what we wanted to drink. Even taking our order she was extremely rude and dry with us. But serving the tables to either side of us were older guests and they were nice as could be to them. The ONLY thing good here was the food, but with the horrendous service we wouldn't even return for that. Having worked in the customer service industry myself, there's absolutely no reason to be so harsh with people who were considerate from the start. If you're a younger couple or person be prepared to be treated poorly. I would not recommend this place at all though, take your business elsewhere. Not to mention it took almost 2 hours from the time we went in to ask about a table to the time we paid the bill in which I had to leave my man there to wait and pay so I could go get ready for our plans, that's how slow they were.

Id suggest going to Starbucks 10 minutes down the road and overpaying for some frozen sandwiches before being treated like we did. Very disappointed in this restaurant. The resort is so amazing so...

As a born and raised local I am always wanting to try different places to eat in the FORT. The corn fritters were the only thing that was good. With a little conch they would be over the top. Unfortunately, from the breakfast menu, everything else was disappointing. The griddle needs to be cleaned and turned down, as everything came out over cooked or had a hard burnt flavor. The corned beef hash, which was real corned beef, was also burned. The eggs my wife had were perfectly cooked, but that lingering burned flavor and look ruined the flavor. Coffee tasted like a brown crayon was dipped in hot water. The biscuits and gravy were ok. Lastly, as a southerner I don't like to chew my grits. They were undercooked, dry, flavorless, and at points, crunchy. The atmosphere is nice and the place is clean. The waitress seemed more interested in a cigarette break than service. Charlene, with some improvements in food we would love to return...

Ordered 3 Baskets, 2 Chicken Liver and 1 Fish. The waitress said do you want dinner or lunch size. Dinner size chosen. 2 sides chosen Mushrooms and Sweet Fries which are premium sides $2 more each. We waited about 30 minutes at least which isn’t the problem. The problem is the size was unacceptable!!! The $25 for 3 DINNER SIZE baskets barely filled 1 styrofoam container and the liver was very very over cooked burnt!! The breading had to be pulled off just to not have to taste the burntness, the fries where soft the fish was soft but doable. The mushrooms where the best part of the whole meal!!!

On top of waiting and then being disappointed the waitress tipped herself 25% so $7 to take our order to go!! I will not be returning...
