When asked for a menu the guy pointed to the dishes on the table in pic 1. He tried to go over as best he can to break down the meats that each of them comprised. Given we don’t speak Spanish ( but look totally Hispanic!! Trust me doesn’t not help!!!) and the guy spoke limited English, I think he did a pretty good job. But I am a Mexican good junky so the dishes were pretty self explanatory for me by just looking at them. We ordered two dishes. One the enchilada with chicken and releno Chile. And another a grilled rib, steak, chicken and sausage combo. The food was real deal. I think probably one of the best in the area. I think I can put this restaurant in my top three Mexican food places right there with El Molcajetes in Ellenton on 301. The food truck that serves nice Burria on the same street as don beto and don Beto. If you looking for a nice fancy family sit down place look elsewhere. If you want good Mexican food and not some “modified to suit the palate style” Tex mex this is the place to go.

The food is really good! Tortillas are made by hand (yes there is a difference). I wish they were open longer hours but, they are open so early in the morning and serve customers who buy food for work. They don’t play around about portions of meat. The tacos are gonna be loaded with meat flavorful meat. This is one of our favorite spots to order lunch on Sundays after church. I love the enchiladas with mole!

Ok ordered enchiladas steak food was delicious I have no complaints besides maybe more cheese on top but as you can see in pic it was delicious. Price wasn't that bad. Had a little bit of a language barrier. They also have I'm guessing fake food to show the menu which is interesting. But overall the dish I had was very good. Had a lot of flavor maybe to much but overall was great.

Very good service, very good food, and a very convenient place, however at the time of making my payment my total was $ 18.19 that was what the cashier told me and is the amount that says my ticket, it is worth highlighting two things: 1.- The amount in my ticket that was the one that the cashier gave me is PRE-TIP AMT 2.- The order was to take away, I understand that the tip is more than anything when your service is to Eat-In.

Upon reviewing my statement, the charge charged to my account was $ 21.83, this is $ 3.64 dollars more than the amount I was informed when paying for a meal that was to go. I would have paid the $ 21.83 anyway. Honesty and transparency is all I ask.

Out of state working and was looking for regular daily lunch spot for the crew. Good food and decent service (depending on the server). Stopped going due to ownership. What a left a bad taste in my mouth was the fact that the owners would take advantage of servers. If tip was left on card, the amount given was not given to server. To accommodate this, I had a system and agreement with our server on how to get around this un ethical mgnt. practice. After a week or so of getting around this, one of the owners (wife) decided she was not going to continue with my system. End result the server was out a good tip that the restaurant keeps. When trying to discuss the situation with the owner he was negative, yelled at the server in front of customers, and proceeded to ignore me and walk away in the middle of our discussion. Only trying to apologize when I approached him with the signed check. That was the last time we ate here.

I do recommend Havana Café around the corner! Excellent service & Food...and tips go...
