Oh, where to begin? The food at this establishment was delightfulācooked to perfection, seasoned with care, and served with a side of⦠mop water and aggression.
Our meal started off promisingly, but the ambiance quickly turned into something akin to dining at a late-night janitorial convention. Shortly after our first bites, a server decided it was time for The Great Table Scrubdown of 2025. With the vigor of someone trying to erase a murder scene, they scrubbed and sprayed the tables next to us like their life depended on it. When we politely asked if they could wait until we finished eatingāyou know, so our burgers werenāt garnished with airborne floor grimeāwe were met with resistance that would make a toddlerās tantrum seem mild.
And then came the finale: as we settled the check, thinking weād reached the end of this chaotic saga, they turned up the lights to blinding levels (just in case we missed a crumb) and resumed their cleaning assault with even greater zeal. At this point, it felt like we were trapped in a particularly aggressive episode of Restaurant: Impossible.
We left a begrudging 15%, not because we wanted to, but because we didnāt want to be the next targets of their hyper-cleaning wrath. Good food doesnāt deserve bad karma, after all.
So, if youāre looking for tasty food paired with a side of unwanted cleaning entertainment, this is your place. For everyone else, bring safety goggles and a dust...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a disappointing experience my husband and I had last night. We've eaten at other Duffy's locations and always had a nice time. Last night we ordered and waited about ten minutes for our appetizer which I thought was a normal amount of time. However, we weren't given any plates or silverware and the appetizer wasn't brought by our waitress. Instead it was kind of tossed onto our table by a grouchy looking woman who was even more grouchy when we asked for silverware. Then we sat for 45 mins, never seeing our waitress, not offered a refill on our then empty drinks, and wondering where our food was. Finally our waitress walks by and starts to say "I'll be right back with your check" before doing a double take and saying "You never got your food?", as if she doesn't know it's her job to bring it. When she came back out she apologized stating no one told her the food was up as she placed reheated steaks in front of us. The corn on the cob wasn't even warm enough to melt butter. After we finished eating we sat for another 15 or so minutes, not seeing our waitress until she came out and sat a table to eat a bowl of soup. We had to ask another staff member to please get our waitress or our check so we could leave. Overall this was not like any experience I've had at other Duffy's locations and, again, was pretty...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf there was an option to give ZERO stars, that's exactly what Duffy's Sports Grill at 6431 SE Federal Hwy, Stuart, FL would receive from me. My recent experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare.
I called in with a simple inquiry, only to be immediately placed on hold without a word. Imagine waiting for an aggravating 12 minutes, hanging up due to frustration, then calling back, only to be greeted by an incredibly rude and young-sounding employee who had the audacity to yell at me to wait on hold. The sheer disrespect in her tone was shocking.
All I wanted to know was the current wait time to decide between dining in or take-out. Instead, I spent over 12 minutes listening to endless self-praise about why Duffy's is supposedly the best, which, based on this experience, is far from the truth.
Being yelled at by staff is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. It's a basic expectation to be treated with courtesy, especially when you're a potential customer. This incident has completely turned me off from Duffy's, and I would strongly advise others to reconsider patronizing an establishment that permits such poor...
