El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant Naples — Restaurant in Florida

Last Saturday, me, my sister and my dad came here for lunch while we were out Christmas shopping and when we first got there, it was 5 minutes and they didn't give us chips and salsa, my sister had to ask for them which she shouldn't have had to do. Second, we waited 20 minutes for our server to take our order and when she walked by we literally had to get her attention. Lastly after we were done eating, our server seen us done eating lunch and we were waiting to get our bill for 10 minutes. So my sister gets up and goes up to her and said we were done eating and ready for our bill, then my sister came back and she said that she seen her eating food. I've never heard of anyone eating in front of their customers while they're working. We were so upset and furious that we basically waited on our servers time instead of our server waiting on "OUR" time. We will never come back here again with your poor crummy service. Also we were the only white people in this place and I honestly feel like they were discriminating us because we were the only white people here and also because our server never checked on us to see if we were good or if we needed any refills like NORMAL servers do. So I hope this place either hire people who know what they're doing and who aren't racist, or they should fire their employees who are incompetent and...

Small & hidden gem! I have to admit, I was initially a little nervous as we pulled up to this establishment, the building is a little run-down and apparently is also a hotel? The outside bathrooms was weird as well.. Regardless of all appearances, the food was fantastic!! Food & service is terrific!! As someone who cannot eat cilantro (tastes like soap to me), I was thrilled to find a Mexican restaurant that was understanding & willing to adjust their food to my palate. Steak quesadillas, chicken enchiladas & tacos are yummy. Their guacamole is prepared fresh & probably the best I’ve ever eaten. Servers are friendly, efficient & quick to make recommendations.
