This review is only for customer service and store concept. I haven't tried their coffee. I had walked to the gas station next door. They were out of coffee. So I walked to Ellianos hoping to buy a coffee. I was excited, as I had never been to Ellianos before but had wanted to try them out ever since they opened near my home. There was a long line of cars and I didn't know what to do. I walked up to the pickup window and a young lady was helping someone in a white Mercedes. I waited and when she was done helping them I asked how I could order a coffee on foot. She listened to me but didn't respond and closed the window. When she opened the window a few minutes later I walked closer to her and said " excuse me, you didn't answer my question. I'm serious about ordering" she responded by telling me to go wait in the back of the car line! I said that was crazy , and why don't they have a walk up window. I then asked to speak with the manager. The manager repeated what the first one said. She also said I could order on the app. I had left my cell phone at home and honestly I'm not going to go through all the trouble of downloading an app just to order a darn coffee!!! I left feeling snubbed by the staff. The 2 employees didn't seem to care about getting my business or be willing to go the extra mile to help me out. They could have quickly taken my order for a coffee in between helping the people in vehicles. They really couldn't be bothered. Telling people on foot to stand in line with cars is terrible customer service. How embarrassing and dehumanizing for them to even suggest a paying customer wait in a line of cars! I read their reviews and apparently someone else had to wait in line with cars. This is totally outrageous and rude of this company. But apparently the management is ok with treating customers poorly This place needs to change their concept and have a walk up order window. I think they are losing out on potential customers and doing a disservice to locals by preventing people walking in the area from ordering. They are not adequately serving the people in this neighborhood, just those driving in and out of it. Given how I was treated this morning, I wouldn't go there...
Read moreI don’t even know where to begin…I have been going here for about a year and a half. The staff? ALWAYS pleasant, ALWAYS kind, caring and professional. I don’t know who is in charge of hiring, but they know which personalities to pick. I love going there. Heck, I go twice a day. If you choose to become a regular (which I do recommend), this is what your experience is going to become: they will memorize your order, your vehicle and your name. Your order will be made as soon as they see your car coming. Your order will be immaculate and if it isn’t? Not only will they remake it but the same mistake won’t be repeated. I could be having the worst day imaginable and as soon as I get there I can’t help but put a smile on my face - a smile they put there. I feel bad to only name one (considering they’ve all put in the effort to know everything about me), but Joc is one of those many members of staff that I adore and look forward to seeing every day. What’s more? Is the quality of the food - not just the quality but the prices! We are all struggling financially but trust me when I say you won’t feel robbed spending your hard earned cash there. AND the company is ethical?? I have been happily ruined from every other company and will never ever go back. Thank you for everything that you do (and I will see you shortly cuz now I’m...
Read moreI have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this new location, being a frequent visitor to the Alachua branch and closely monitoring their Instagram for updates. Today, they finally announced the grand opening, and I was genuinely thrilled to be among the first customers. However, my excitement quickly turned into profound disappointment.
When we arrived at 7:30 PM, a full hour and 30 minutes before closing time, they informed us that they had already stopped serving food. I couldn't believe it! How ridiculous!? Why would they do this with so much time left until closing? I might have been more understanding if they had said it was because it was their first day and they ran out of ingredients, but that wasn't the case. Closing at 9 PM and refusing to serve food at 7:30 PM simply doesn't make any sense.
To salvage our visit, we settled for two drinks, which were pretty tasty, I must admit. $12 for both large drinks seems like a decent deal, but it hardly compensated for the overall letdown of the experience.
All in all, my first encounter at this new location was utterly underwhelming. I had such high hopes, but they were dashed by the lackluster service and...
