The Fathers Day brunch was very nice! Kept our bottomless mimosa carafe full! All the different stations were excellent! They have definitely got to go back to the drawing board on the biscuits & gravy id rate those bad real bad! But another nice touch they came around and gave all the fathers who wanted one a bloody mary with all the fixins very tasty & very nice! Plus we got there alittle early but they still sat us so we could enjoy mimosas or coffee while they were still finishing setting up! Great experience with my 95 yr old WW2 veteran father! Took my out of town brother & his wife there for the sunday brunch! The food was excellent they had an omelet bar with carving station for roast beef & ham at both ends of the brunch bar which was a smart touch! Our waiter kept our bottomless mimosa carafe full and kept our empty plates moved away and off the table for us. The price has gone up quite a bit from last summer $16.99 to the price now of $21.99. It has now moved from a sunday brunch for us to a brunch only for special occasions and even then only once in awhile(bummer)! But thats inflation for you and i understand that but dont like it! I was recently there with my out of town daughter and her family & my nephew & neice. It happened to be a tuesday which is there surf & turf special day. For $29.99 we all thought that it was a very reasonable price for what you receive. You got 2 choices of turf: a nice ribeye or a full sized filet and it wasnt one of those mini filet's you so often get when its included in a deal like this! It also came with 4 different choices of vegetable and you got your choice of 2 of them. I will say that a majority of us got the parmasan risotto as one of their choices and all thought it was very tasty. I would say overall this is a very good deal. Everybodies steaks came just as they had requested them so that was really nice not to have that headache of over done or under done! My grandson ordered the tiramisu and said it was very tasty and i could tell it was with how fast it disappeared! The problem i had and the rest of the party had was we werent served our meals together. Are party wasnt overly large (12) so serving us all together shouldnt of ben like something extreme or out of the ordinary. Half of us were served and waited an appropriate time before we had to start eating so our meals didnt get cold. The second half of our party were finally served when the rest of us were finishing up our meals! Which made for an awkward dinner but the only thing that saved it from being worse is we were all family and kibbutzing back and forth with everybody so it wasnt as noticeable or as bad as it could of ben. My feeling is the least that could of ben done for us other then continuing to say it will be coming out shortly is brought us out each a refreshed drink or appetizer plate for the half that sat waiting to get served. Overall the special was great and the food was all very tasty but youve got to get the kitchen and servers working in tandem better plus the floor manager needs to be more aware when there is something out of the ordinary happening!RR

First visit to Glenview Country Club for brunch (or any meal)…. Just not impressed, sorry. The staff was friendly BUT they were congregating around the bar area (a lot) and it was hard to get someone to pay attention. I also didn’t like they don’t have a “team” environment (at least I couldn’t tell). Multiple times a waiter/waitress would walk by our table and NOT remove plates, fill coffee… etc. If they’d been busier maybe it wouldn’t have been as noticeable but they weren’t. Food that I ate was good… I had prime rib, Mac and cheese, broccoli, fresh fruit. All of these items were good. I had the eggs Benedict and it was “ok”. It was on biscuits instead of English muffins and appeared to have been in the warmer for a while. Also tried the dessert - gross. An overly sweet banana pudding with NO BANANAS, and an awful cheesecake covered with super sweet strawberry or chocolate sauce. Only took a bite of each - really underwhelming. What I really missed was something FRESH and bread. There were NO FRESH VEGETABLES and no type of bread/rolls. They had bbq shredded pork and nothing to put it on. No toast, English muffins, nothing. They only had sweet breads and they weren’t too appealing. The best part of the meal was it was $19.99 before 11a. Although I definitely didn’t have $20 worth of food… I’m sure others will. Sooo will I be back? Maybe for a regular lunch/dinner but NEVER FOR BRUNCH.

We decided to have my Dad's Celebration of Life ceremony coupled with my parents anniversary brunch, as it would have been their 40th wedding anniversary. We had this event at Glenview and they did not disappoint! My Step-Mother originally worked through the details with the Manager, Ryan Morrison, to set up all the pre arrangement plans. On the date of the event (08/09/2025) another Manager, Carolyn Joiner, ensured that everything was perfect. The two servers (Kayle and Kim) were also amazing and attentive. We saw an awesome show of teamwork from this restaurant as they all ensured that this event was flawless. We have incredible new memories to attach to this event in remembering my Dad, and my only regret is that I cannot have a drink at the bar with him next time I am in town. I can assure you though, that I will return to visit because this business is top notch and I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a place to host an event, or just get a great meal, set your sights on Glenview Country Club. Service, Quality, Professionalism, Friendly, and Attentive are just a few traits that you will get at Glenview, not to mention the food has always been great as well! Thank you to the entire staff for all that you did to make our memories of my Dad some of the best to share with family and friends! Bryan Hajek

Glenview, Monday night, 1/8. Chose Monday for their Steak & Shrimp special. Made reservations at 5 PM for a party of 24, our Lake Deaton, couples golf group. Due to the size of our group we have had challenges with various venues, service, food (long waits, cold food, mixed quality, etc.) and all the other things that can happen. That said, this Monday at Glenview everything was flawless. Upon entering, the manager Vic gave us a warm welcome. He informed me that due to the size of our group he had 2 tables set up, one seating 5 couples and the other seating 7 couples. This he said was to provide us with 2 dedicated servers, Amy and Casey. Our tables were lined up with a break in the middle. As I said earlier our group for the most part was looking forward to the Monday Special. The special was served buffet style and included: Prime Rib, Chateau Briand, NY Strip, Lamb along with a choice of mashed potatoes and/or broccoli, 2 soups – New England Claw Chowder and Tomato Bisques, Teriyaki Shrimp, Peeled Shrimp and Coconut Shrimp along with a basic salad. All was plentiful, hot and delicious, except for the salad of course. Members of our group could and did order from the menu and were thrilled with their entrée’s both in quality and portion size. We all loved our servers, Amy and Casey, they were just excellent and never made a mistake with our drink or menu orders, always asking if there was anything else that we needed. Vic came by our tables 3 or 4 times during the evening to see whether we were happy with the food and service and there was not one hiccup in our bills either. Many of us had not been to Glenview in quite some time but all of us left Glenview saying we that we needed to come back soon. ...

2/28/21. 6:30 p.m. We, 4of us, were escorted to a table with no condiments. We didn’t have along to wait for our waiter and ordered drinks, received our menus. Napkins and utensils arrived. Drinks arrived, he took out order. I ordered the meatloaf. I chose cole slaw as a veggie. He said we’re out of that and I didn’t care for any of the other veggie that were available. I suggested a small side salad as a replacement for the 2nd vegetable. Was told that would be $3.00 extra. I didn’t think that was fair since 2 vegetables came with the meal. He offered extra potatoes as a substitute. That was ok with me and did order the side salad. There was a long wait for the 2 turkey pies, a burger and the meatloaf consistency was very dry. He took no notice that the center of the table was of condiments. My guest was halfway thru his burger when he appeared.

The food was ok but the service was not as good as it was earlier. There was a long wait for the check, for him to pickup my card and bring back with the bill and card for signature. No pen was offered but one my guests had a pen. That done but no server to finish the transaction so I finally asked another server to bring my transaction to the bar. He finally appeared with excuses for the wait. He was a nice young man but he really needs some training. in all fairness to him and the other servers were all stressed. Hire and train more people!

The music last evening was toooo loud and really not appropriate for cocktails and dinner. You couldn’t hear the server and each other when speaking. The young couple earlier in the week were good and softer in their selections but also to loud. The setting is a great place to relax over drinks, apps and...
