Food was eh. As a southern cook I know how I like my food. Every cook is different. The eggs were the best thing on the plate. Bacon was burned and hash browns were super greasy, and I love potatoes any way I can get them! Daughter and son-in-law were not happy with food either his was refunded hers was not, nor offered to refund. She was asked would she care for anything else with answer of no as she has food restrictions. Our first visit and sad to say our last. We weren’t complaining, never asked for the Mgr nor asked for any discounts, but the mgr walked over with an attitude and well that sealed the deal of no return. We were given you the respect of just paying for bad food and leaving, but showing your tail leaves a worse taste then your cooking. I’m glad others find it “good” but I’d suggest anywhere but here. Thanks and please have a great day. Can we give a negative score?? A certain type of food is “southern” again we just wanted to leave we all three had different food and they didn’t want another disappointment. She added ranch to see if it’d taste any better alas no.. again we never asked to speak with you. It was YOUR nasty attitude we didn’t care for. Your server told her it’d be a different type of lettuce, so thinking your getting one thing then getting another is very off putting again it wasn’t the best thing to ever be put on a plate and called food. Don’t care if your southern northern or a pink cow it was still terrible food again which we were going to pay for and walk away but YOU yourself turned it into the encounter it turned into. I’m glad folks can swallow your food more power to you and there tasteless taste buds. It’s a review of our time there like it or not that day your...

Normally I like new breakfast cafes. It is my favorite meal out... but this cafe is off my list! Why? Service... food... limited menu and price. Went in with my mother-in-law for a bite. One of our favorite breakfast spots was in this location before. Initially we came to a busy place and were seated and coffee’d up rather quickly. The menu was somewhat limited and a bit more pricy than we are used to seeing. It took about 15 minutes to return to take our orders. Then 20 more to receive our food. The food was cooked in what tasted like old grease. Mom’s order was over-easy egg, sausage links and rye toast. They were cooked properly but one egg had no yolk... seriously it had NO YOLK! The tiny sausage link had a gritty texture and was cold. All for the bargain price of $8.59 w/ the coffee. My second cup of coffee was self serve... I’m at a diner because well, diner service and I have serve myself for a refill. A side note another patron saw me and was glad I showed him how to get a second cup. Now for my breakfast. I had Gramma’s Breakfast Platter it include scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, I went with home fries, and fried bread dough. Sounds good right? The bacon was cold, the sausage was(see above) eggs, dough and home fries were cooked in OLD GREASE. I am not speculating the server said, and I quote, “the grease is too old isn’t it, I told them the grease was too old.” How can they know the grease was old and still use it. One final note 20 minutes later Mom regurgitate the breakfast... this woman typically has an iron gut. Do not go there thinking Cackleberry’s has re opened! There are too many GOOD diners in the area....
Read moreGramma's Place in Summerfield is a breakfast place that's sure to please you. This cozy spot serves up omelets that are almost as warm and fuzzy as a grandma's hug. They'll whip up your eggs however you like them. As for sides, you've got a trifecta of options: hash browns, steak fries, or tater tots. I went for the works with a mushroom, sausage, and spinach omelet, and let me tell you, it was egg-cellent. And don't even get me started on the biscuits and gravy – it's like a match made in breakfast heaven. Oh, and the coffee? Endless refills, because caffeine is the lifeblood of any decent breakfast. My wife and I gave this place two thumbs up (and our stomachs agree). Even the ice water is on point – who knew that was a thing? All in all, a solid breakfast experience that's sure to make you feel like you're sitting on Gramma's porch on a nice day, minus the porch, and the Gramma, but with a similar sense of...
