I moved from Colorado and California where we had Carl's Jr (Hardee's) EVERYWHERE...
When I moved to a tiny town called Beaver in Utah, with ONE stop light (yes only one stop light) and a population in the main Town of about 1050 adults (including the population of the state prison/county jail) and about 800 children that live within the city limits, and because this Town is also the County Seat for all farms, dairies, resorts, Sheriff's, and all city Officials...
There is a Grand Total County Population of 3,590 people that covers 2,592 square miles, as well as including the unincorporated properties, farms, ranches, dairies, the Eagle Mountain, Minersville reservoir, Fishlake National Forest, and multiple lakes...
And let me tell you when you realize that there only a Burger King, McDonald's, and Dairy Queen because this Town was the only Gas Station and Truck Stop on the Interstate 15 75-100 miles from an actual City...
I spent almost 5 years there and when they were finally building a Hardee's in my town... I moved to South Florida before it opened... and I have been CRAVING Hardee's for over 14 years.
I have a distinct memory and keen recollections of flavor and texture of everything from buns, fries, produce, meat, sides, and even the type of oil used at restaurants...
And I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the Hardee's/Carl's Jr 's commitment and ability to provide the exact same quality and service over their entire US locations. Everything from breakfast and their hand made biscuits, to lunch/dinner with the same sauces, quality, and cooked to order charbroiled meats. Everything was extremely fresh and if you want an authentic old school not frozen meat charbroiled to order with french fries, waffle fries, or even fresh fried zucchini or onion rings... You can't go wrong at...
Read moreMy husband and I frequent many of these truck stops. We pick up and deliver vehicle's for large companies. We stopped here because of Hardee's. I have food restrictions and need to be careful what I eat. I have never had a problem getting my request, be it in the early AM or afternoon. I was asking the ladies at the front counter if I could get a hot ham and cheese sandwich. This is the ham and white american melted cheese on a plain hamburger bun. They said no because it is a lunch item. I asked if they could ck with a manager, and right as I asked another lady came from the back. I am not sure if she was the manager, but one of the girls asked if they could do this and she replied no.. they are not preped yet.I did not feel it was a crazy request. A couple pieces of ham which you already use in the Frisco and grab a bun, which you also use in your hamburger breakfast sandwich and a piece of cheese put on a bun then in microwave..or wherever. As I said there are only certain items I can eat from you. My husband wanted a porkchop breakfast, so in stopping I knew what I would order. I was disappointed, but resigned and walked over to fill my husband's cup with tea, then from behind me I heard the woman that came from the back announce to the other girls at the counter. That they could not make it. Again reiterating. What she had already said.. Which felt like for my benefit. I then turned and let her know that I understood and I was fine with what I had and she didn't need to repeat herself. I FELT like she was trying to cover her self for something. We have been driving trucks for over 30 years frequent many truck stops. This is a hard and thankless job. You are often not home and In my case restrictions in eating. I feel like I was dismissed and excused., I am sorry for the lengthy post. This is just very...
Read moreThis is the worst Hardee's I have ever had the misfortune of visiting. The staff seemed to be over worked, and stressed out. This is due to the manager, Rob I think they called him. He stood at the counter doing absolutely nothing to help, while yelling across the kitchen for them all to hurry up. He has no respect for his subordinates and created a hostile work environment for them. I waited in line for a good 20 minutes before finally being helped. There was only.ome guy in front of me when I got in line. I proceeded to order a 1/3 pound cheeseburger. I placed my order without any problems then went and found a seat. Another 20 minutes goes by and I hear the manager screaming my number from across the facility, so I grab the little red placard with my never on it and head up to the counter to take my food. Up on receiving it, I noticed that instead of a 1/3 pound cheeseburger, they sent me a mushroom and Swiss. I tell the manager, showing him my receipt that I ordered a cheeseburger. He then rudely asks me, well, do you don't want the mushroom and Swiss instead? I said no, I would like the cheese burger I ordered please. He then snatched the burger away from me and put it back on the warming shelf and yelled across the kitchen for his staff to hurry up and make another 1/3 pound...
