Absolutely the longest wait in my entire life to get our food. Not only that, as paying adults we were told they didn't have enough menus but the table next to us, approximately 5 kids ages 4-8 all had menus and the parents. Yet all the menus just laid on their table while no one thought to get menus from a table not using them. From the time we sat down, it took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get our food. Granted 15-20 minutes was because we were determining what to order. Ultimately, we had to wait for menus and food for approx 1 hour and 10 min. Not too mention they were unable to give us diet cokes but said they are changing the soda out and it wouldn't be long. After waiting approximately 30 min for a diet coke we just opted to stick with water. Then after we all ordered, a few minutes later, my dad was informed they were out of the item he ordered. Finally, to top it off, my cousins food which was only fried pickles came out dead last about 10 minutes after the other food was brought out. Absolutely, terrible customer service. I will keep it honest and say my dish was good but definitely not worth the time or service. The waitress was brand new, however, she did her best and will learn the ropes over time. However, lack of menus is unacceptable and is a management flaw, changing the diet soda out is typically the bartender or kitchen staff, failing to advise customers of which menu items they are out of is a communication problem between the kitchen and waitress, food preparation is the kitchen staff, and failure for a supervisor or manager to check on the table after so many issues is a management problem. I would highly suggest they conduct mandatory training in regards to changing the sodas and alcohol out, if you are unwilling to spend some extra money on menus then at the very least just print up 10-15 extra menus and staple them together (something is better than nothing), take control of your personnel in the kitchen and ensure they are knowledgeable on techniques and procedures to turn the food in a timely manner, always ensure someone from management or shift supervisor personally visits a table that experience so many issues especially waiting over an hour for food when the establishment wasn't filled to capacity or even close to capacity. (a decent amount of individuals but nearly enough people that justifies any of the failures that occured.) Its sad because their food is amazing but unfortunately it appears the management and training is below par. Btw, I hardly ever write reviews and never poor reviews but it was that bad. Hopefully, they...
Read moreMy wife and I had a meal here back in April, it was a horrible experience from start to finish. Two waitresses and a cook. Manager apparently had bolted. Decided we would steer clear for a bit. Today we decided to give them another shot since we have pretty much been happy with food and service in the past. Well, things haven’t gotten any better. We both thought our waitress was new, however, she shared that she had been there since April, 2023. Wife ordered the byob burger. She ordered the double (always takes a patty home to the pup) with American cheese with double pickles. Remember this is a build your own burger. Nothing was mentioned about anything else coming in it and all she wanted was the cheese and extra pickles. I ordered and informed the waitress of my onion allergy. So far things are great. Food arrives, my wife sees there’s definitely more than pickles on the burger immediately. She lifts up the bun and sure enough there’s lettuce, tomatoes and onion! Common sense might indicate not to serve onion to a table where there’s an onion allergy or at the least ask about it! So, she took the salad off the the very soggy bun with one part still frozen and discarded it. I went up to the bar to ask for another bun. Waitress comes over, explain about the bun, she tells someone else she will get it and brings said bun straight out of a bag to the table, so now my wife has a toasted top bun and an in toasted bun on the bottom, which she took off after one bite. The whole escapade was just laughable from being told there was no one “back there” to toast the bun to scraping tables and chairs across the room to having more “workers” than customers. Oh, forgot to mention $4 for 12 over cooked fries. Needless to say, we won’t be back. Do better Hook and Eagle, think about those first months when you opened and...
Read moreAbout 6 mos. ago we googled best burger in Brevard County and this place came up and we went and weren't disappointed. Great burgers. Went several times since and introduced newly moved here friends and they enjoyed it as well. A little noisy, no soft surfaces to absorb sound, but fun. Well, this past Friday. as an early start to Hubby's birthday weekend, we went for an early dinner. Hubby had his mushroom Swiss burger (great) and I ordered the Catfish (Friday in Lent.) It was horrible. It looked like entrails from something, Didn't seem completely cooked and was more breading than fish. I told the waitress and she offered me something else but I had already started eating it and didn't want to wait around for more uncooked fish. She stated they recently lost their head chef and were trying to get things back in shape. She did get me the manager and she was very nice and offered me another dish but we didn't want to wait (cats at home waiting for their dinner.) To my surprise, took half off our bill, which I wasn't expecting, since I did eat the rest (finding the little pieces of white fish in the breading.) We will definitely go back again for burgers, but I'll check to see who is cooking before I order the fish again. Had it before and it was great, not so...
