Read moreWow, this was the worst IHOP visit in my history. It is a shame, because the location on 520 is in my back yard. I haven't been here for a year because of bad service in the past. People changed out, but not the experience. We normally go to the one on Palm Bay Rd, because it is always a positive place to visit.
The service is what killed everything. The waitress was very argumentative. Just the order experience made me feel like we should walk out, but I tried to have a positive view because they were busy. It started off with being asked to use my phone for a menu. OK, no problem. I showed her what I wanted. She then pulled out a paper menu and told me she didn't know what the Pablo bowl was. I pointed to the picture and she said it could be one of 3 bowls and pointed all over the menu.
We then tried to order canoli pancakes for my son. Why give us a menu for something if it isn't available until 2pm? The other location always let's us order it and I pay a little more. This location can't have the ingredients until 2pm? So we asked the waitress to bring us a paper pancake menu. There were only 4 pancakes to choose from on the menu? My son settle for the cupcake combo. We asked for the egg to be medium.
My meal came out 10min before my son's meal. The egg was super runny. I told the waitress that we needed the egg cooked medium. She exclaimed that it was. I pulled the egg of my son's plate and poked it. The yolk ran everywhere. I told her he won't eat that. She said we should have ordered it hard. I told her we always order medium and it is never this runny. I asked for it to be removed. They did not offer a replacement.
While we finished, I did a quick search on the internet for eggs over medium. When our check was delivered, I proceeded to politely show our waitress what over medium should look like. It was only my intention to educate, not to cause trouble. She argued with me and said she eats eggs like that all the time and that it was medium. She argued with me and the internet. I asked to speak to a manager. He was nice. Never tried to comp an egg, or anything. He did say he would educate the staff.
In the end, I still feel upset about our visit. I will never step into that location again. I'm done, you win. It is a shame, because it is in...
Read moreI literally just had the worst experience eating there. First i noticed one worker sneezed in her hands and did not washed her hands. As I was waiting to be seated. It was little packed in there and she was rushing. She grabbed a guest plate and her hands touched the omelette when she was taking off the lid to a sauce that was in the plate. Am I the only one seeing this as I looked around??? I thought maybe fast food places should have hand sanitizer dispensers for sisituations like that. Like we have in the hospital settings. I just wished I didnt have her as my waitress as I prayed ...but yet the universe placed me right there...as I look up and see her greet me. "hey can I get you something to drink" "No thank you" .I whispered you need to wash your hands hoping that she will hear me...but still not grabbing attentions of others to see the messiness that was happening. I requested to be moved to another table where I feel like she will not be my waitress. And hoping the next one will be clean. But it was the eggs, it didnt taste right but I didnt complained. But then I moved on to eat the waffles and realized I'm chewing on paper . I looked in the pancake and sure enough I ripped a small part of it open and its paper made right in the waffle. I wondered if I opened the whole thing what would I see smh. She quickly picked it up and brough it to them and told them what happened. She offered to make another and I accepted it. When she came back and placed it down the waffle slide halfway of the plate I had to catch it so it didn't hit the table or the floor SIGH. Began to eat I found a small hair. Felt like my eyes was playimg tricks on me..this really can't be . ..took another piece off to eat and there another piece was waving proudly in the waffles. Ok I see it..Ok that was my time to leave. Her next solution was do u just want me to take it off the...
