HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🌟 🌟 So this is the cutest mom & pop restaurant. Family owned and operated. When you walk in everyone is friendly and happy. It has a great atmosphere of home and family. To start the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer (light tasty breading) was scumptious. The waitress Melissa recommended the Mahi. So I ordered the blackened Mahi and I was asked if I wanted the creole sauce. Not thinking I said yes. I really just wanted blacked Mahi but it was the best mistake I made. It was so delicious and had such great flavor. The blacked Mahi was on a bed of rice with a homemade creole sauce with shrimp and sausage was delightful. I also ordered fries with a side of brown gravy and so so good. The hushpuppies were so soft and moist (the best hushpuppies I've ever had). My fiance got meatloaf (top/crusted with stuffing) with gravy, green beans and French fries. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff was as good as the food. The chef came out and spoke with us he was so friendly and sincere. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. If you are new or just stopping by this place is worth a visit. We will be back again because I can't wait to try so many other things on the menu. Thank you for a delicious meal with friendly and helpful service.

Food and atmosphere from childhood still exists. Nicole's is a small café located in a rural setting where you can still find country folk and food that tastes like memories from childhood that doesn't break the bank. Each breakfast plate was loaded with more food than we could all eat today. This is not a large place but I never saw anyone waiting for a table. The staff is polite and helpful with recommendations. The gravy in the biscuit and gravy combo is excellent! I loved the sausage patty that a friend got on his plate but I would lay money on the sausage being the same ones McDonald's uses (where do they get it? I love those sausage patties) It was tasty and worth every penny. The atmosphere is literally like home with lots of decorations from model ships and boats to pictures and trinkets that keeps visitors looking around while waiting. The food did not take too long and was hot when served. We'll be going back in the future. (small warning, they have Pepsi products with only one diet soda being diet Pepsi, other than this horrible thing, the cafe is worth the trip).

Where to begin? I was passing through town with my three kids and this place came up with so many great reviews. Here is one more! First of all our waitress was the cutest Southern Belle. She was an older woman with beautiful blonde hair. Kind-hearted and patient. She gave the kids actual coloring books. As you can see we ordered a bit of everything and We took our time trying everyone else's food as everything was more delicious than the next. I'm so glad I ordered one pancake for us to share because it was huge! Expect to have leftovers! The attention to detail was fabulous. The way the ham and vegetables were cooked in the omelette, the crispiness, yet tenderness of the potatoes, the thickness of the grits, and boy did we love the French toast! My kids We're so full they were sad they couldn't finish the pancake. All of what you see there was only $50! Please stop by, you'll feel right at home in this small but quaint breakfast spot. Make sure to tip well!

Me and my bf went to have lunch and I’ve been here multiple times never had a problem till now I ordered the catfish dinner like I have many many times and the fish was slimy mushy and falling apart everywhere and a long white sluggy substance got pulled out of it. So I asked the only kind waitress in that place if she would see if I can have a new thing of fish and I apologized and said I never would complain but look at this and she said yes mam I am so sorry and I thanked her and when she went to take it back to the cook we could here him complain about having to fix it he was so upset that he had to fix it he sent to owner Kelly in to talk to us and she walked up very rude and angry and asked what was the problem and I had explained to her what was wrong and she continued to argue with me and be very hostile and she said she would drop me another price and she walked away then I started crying because she was so rude and the very nice waitress came up just apologized and tried to comfort me and as she was comforting me we could here the owner Kelly talking shit about me and my order to the whole kitchen staff and every one in the restaurant could here and my bf then got up and went to go pay for the food so we can get out and the owner went to ring him up and he said you didn’t have to be so damn nasty and she said don’t talk to me like that and he then told me let’s go and then the owner said so now she’s not gonna eat the food I just dropped for her and my bf said no like are you serious look how you just did her infront of everyone and she said just get out and we left I will never go here again this was the worst ever and not to mention while waiting for our food we heard another waitress complain about other customers because they don’t tip her anything over 7 dollars I am just in shock that a owner of a restraint will speak to customers that way i don’t know why you have to be a nasty and rude when you could have just fixed the food and kept some customers but I hope this places...

We have never been SO disgusted with service/food in our lives! We used to come here all of the time when Gerald owned it…….this place has gone terribly downhill since then! His food was ALWAYS amazing and always hot and fresh! His servers were spot on and friendly! He would even come out of the kitchen to make sure everyone was doing ok! We decided to go out for a nice breakfast this morning, ended up being a total disaster from the moment we walked in! When we sat down, we waited about 5 minutes for someone to notice we were there (not bad, tho) My husband ordered a coffee and I ordered water. As soon as she set the water on the table, there was a huge puddle of water under the glass (cracked glass), so she said, let me get you another one. Did she bring a towel to wipe things up? NO! We were left with cleaning it up ourselves with napkins! She took our order……left the sopping wet napkins on the table, didn’t bother to take them with her. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food to arrive, when it did, it was cold…..my husband ordered blueberry pancakes and they were massacred…..looked like they spread blueberry jam under each one. The homefries were disgusting, no flavor and cold (just sliced potatoes thrown on the grill for a minute or two. My wrap was cold, as well and extremely greasy! The flavor was ok, but the grease was just too much! Our server did not seem quite right like maybe she had indulged in something that wasn’t on the menu….🤔 She acted like she could of cared less about how we felt. Some blonde came by and we told her about the pancakes and about the rest of the food, she apologized and took the pancakes off our ticket. It’s a darn shame that this place has gone to the dogs, heck I wouldn’t even feed this trash to my dog! Definitely not Gerald’s style! WE WILL NOT...

I've been now a few times and every time I've been disappointed. The last visit was for lunch and we were greeted when we came in and sat down and someone took our drink order. And then she walked back by our table at least 5 more times before she repaized she never brought us our drinks. We were there for about 15-20 mins before our actual server came to take our order and she didnt even apoogize for our wait just stated she was working the floor and the kitchen and they were short staffed yet the lady who took our drink order and finally brought us our srinks could have taken our order instead of bussing tables and doing other work or the 3rd server that was working could have taken our order instead for 15 mins they all continuously walked past us and not even at least recognizing that we had been sitting there. Or the other 2 could have helped our server do other things so she coyld get to us. Our food didn't take long but it was very disappointing. I had the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Both were VERY bland. I couldn't put enough salt and pepper on the food. The potatoes were watery. The country fried steak was very chewy and had a lot of connective tissue. I also saw a server take cocktail sauce in containers that was on a table that had left and put back in the fridge. How do you know someone at the table didnt open the lid, dip in it, and pit the lid back on it. The restaurant is dirty and doesn't smell good. Unfortunately I won't be returning which is sad because I would rather support a small business in my community vs a...
