So disappointed we were there with our family on friday evening the restaurant is beautiful, food presentation awesome, guacamole was very good, salsa and chips very good also, nachos were very good also, Pollo fundido, rice and beans came out at room temperature, chicken tasted and looked like it came out of a can, tacos birria very soggy food was a room temperature also, our server did not seem to be very knowledgeable of the items on the menu, it was a one man show, our server was serving our food, making our drinks while looking at recipe while two girls behind the bar kept talking to each other, while another guy was just on his cell phone, our server started cleaning the bathrooms as he was still serving us, desserts: churros are delicious and well as the tres leches, cheese cake had freezer burn taste to it, for being a new establishment you would think they will have better customer service, no one from management came to the tables and ask how is everything? lack of sense of urgency. The bar definitely needs someone doing the drinks instead of the server himself looking at a recipe on a piece of paper while the rest of the staff seem to just be hanging out. it was very disappointed since we were looking forward to supporting another business in our neighborhood. Maybe we will give it another try in a few months once they establish themselves better and the reviews...
Read moreThis was my first time trying this place. The food was really good. My family loved it. We will definitely be returning.
Food ratings: Chicken tacos: They were okay. They weren't terrible but they were a little bland. Needed more seasoning Chicken fajitas: Really good. Literally no complaints. Mexican rice and beans: The beans pack the most flavor and complemented the rice very well. Really good. Tacos Pastor: Eh, not my favorite. Not bad, but could be seasoned better. Carnitas tacos: Very good. A tad bit dry, but overall, delicious. Ground beef tacos: No complaints at all. Very tasty. Note: The flour tortillas were a little doughy. Chicken flautas: My least favorite. Again, they weren't bad, but they could use more seasoning.
Overall, we can't wait to try this place again and taste new dishes. I...
Read moreI dont write many reviews but i had such a great time at this place i just had to. My family and I are big fans of Mexican food and are always on the lookout for a "go to" Mexican. We have gone to other 12 restaurants in Orlando and around here. I live really close to this place and had not tried it since its a bit hidden but i got to tell you I think we found or "go to" place. The food came fast, was warm, delicious, and plenty to share and try everyone's dishes. I do have to say it was not on the spicy side so i asked for some spicy sauce and got some amazing sauce made by them that was hella spicy just like i like it. I highly recommend specially if you live close to the area... Dont waste your time going to those far away places on Vine st. way...
