Friendly bar with good drinks. Has typical bar food. Wings are the best and I recommend extra crispy. Smoking is allowed. TouchTunes (Hell Yeah!). The only bad thing is you must purchase fast play in order to hear your songs played. Fast play costs you 4 credits where normal play costs 2. No windows. No beer on tap. With that being said, don't go to get drunk as this will hit your wallet hard. Bars with no tap beer is expensive for drinking. No happy hour drinking either as far as I know, (like no 2 for 1 beers). It's most likely setup as a locals bar, but I didn't feel out of place. Music is (edit on 10 Aug 2018: used to be) mainly country music. You can change it if you buy lots of credits. I recommend you buy at least $40 worth of credits or more as it will cost you an arm and leg to keep playing fast play on TouchTunes otherwise you'll have to listen to a bunch of country music. They also pause the music for karaoke whenever it starts.
Edit:. 10:30pm Saturday. Mostly locals. Sit in a seat by yourself and your by yourself. Music requires earplugs. It's extremely loud for such a small place.
Triplet singers "hell on heels" needs more work.
Edit: 11:50pm. I've met Nicholas Lea at the scoreboard lounge in seffner FL 4th Aug 2018! Goose IPA is the best beer here!
Edit: 18 Sat Aug 2018, 80s night! Badass! To bad...
Read moreThis place has steadily declined to the point of absurdity. The food, and my God the grill cook are both sorely lacking in everything palatable. He stood at the corner of the bar trying to flirt with a customer for 20 min straight while me and my girlfriend were told it would be ready in 15. The overall total time we were there waiting on a hamburger basket and jalapeno poppers was an hour and when we finally got our food it was cold. She very politely asked if we could at least have hot food for waiting so long and the man said, "Sometimes it's like that" and walked back over to the drunk lady and continued his business. When we said something to the bartender told us, "now you know what we have to deal with, Sorry." And then protected to tell us the grill was closing and they weren't taking any more orders, mind you it was only 1am and the grill closes at 230. I've been a patron of this establishment since 2009 and the past year We've gone 5 times and those will be the last. I've been on a first name basis with the best employees they had Katie, Jen, Chris, JR, and Dave, and it's sad to say we as a family will no longer frequent Luna lounge as it is a sad shell of what used to be a great local dive with good food, good prices, and great people....
Read moreMiss Krystle, a bartender and an absolutely remarkable woman. After a divergent day of boatfailure, I decided to pull in for lunch at Luna. Only to come across a stunning woman.
After finishing my lunch and meager crown and coke, feeling frisky for something more. It downed on me how attentively kind my server approached me. In a lunch hall of seven or so parties, she was personable and kind to my lowly appearing self. I felt the need to challenge this new recruit to our old local watering hole.
My request to Miss Krystle, a "Dirty Martini of Vermouth and Gin". My-O'My, at 47 years old this wonder of a woman produced liquid gold. Not once on luck, but again and again was she able to present the magnificent drink of kings.
Thank you Miss Krystle, for warming my heart, turning around my anoying day, and being kind to this old man. I deeply appreciate your dedication to your craft.
Forever your...
