I would like to start off by saying that I respect people who work in the restaurant industry. I personally have worked multiple years in restaurants and itâs an extremely hard industry to work in. The experience I had tonight was the most awful service I have ever received.
Before going to McDonaldâs I called (9:51 PM) ahead of time to see if they could break $100 because thatâs all I had. I didnât want to waste our time nor their time if they couldnât break it but they said they could.
We drove up to the restaurant went through drive thru ordered our food and proceeded up to the first window (10:03 PM). I gave the drive thru cashier the cash with the exact change. We waited a minute because he needed to get change for the $100, which is completely understandable. When the cashier went to hand me the change a $20 accidentally dropped from his hand and into the McDonalds donation box. The cashier went to get his GM. We both explained the situation to the manager she told me to hold on walked away for a moment and informed my husband and I that we couldnât be refunded, then walked away. The cashier obviously was confused as to what to do and closed the window. I was kinda upset that no one told us what our next step was to do we need to call corporate or do we need to come in and speak to the owner about getting our money back. I knock on the window the cashier opens it back up repeats the same thing his manager said for him to say if we gave him trouble. I said no thatâs acceptable I need to speak with your manager. The same manager comes to the window, says the same thing and then comes to say she is just explaining what her GM told her to say. Comes to find out that she was not the GM, I am not even sure what her position was there. I asked again can I please speak to the GM. The GM REFUSED to come speak with us. The reason why she couldnât come speak to us is because she was extremely busy. Finally after I stated that I was not gonna move my car till my money was completely refunded thatâs when the GM came to the register ignored us and stated âgive them the $20 back I guess I will just have to take it out of my paycheck.â Now this is when I lost my cool, it was an honest mistake that cashier made!!! All we wanted to do was speak to the person in charge to see what our next step was!!! I asked for a complete refund after that! I didnât want to give any money to the restaurant after that! That GM was unprofessional. It was all on camera and was an obvious mistake. I finally got a complete refund for almost 30 minutes (10:26 PM).
I want to apologize to girl who had to do her GMâs job. You did an awesome job at handling us. Your service was amazing but your GMâs job was the worst. I understand itâs Christmas night. I respect anyone who works on Christmas and has to leave their family but this situation could have been handled completely differently. I could have been told please come inside and I can help you with this situation but instead I was told canât do it and ignored. Like I said it was an accident and the cashier didnât mean to drop the money.

   Read moreWell, they can't all be 5 stars I guess. Usually my experience here is A++. Maybe today was less than because I deviated from my normal order (DBL QPC) to try the new Smoky BLT QPC. I ordered a DBL Filet o Fish combo (no tartar) for my son. Fortunately his meal was fine. The guy at the window handed me the combo drink and then said something faster than Eminem raps. I thought he was repeating my order. I don't hear well anyway, and I was struggling to turn down my music on my phone. After repeating it twice I just said yes. He calmly and slower asked me to pull into waiting spot 1. I pulled around the building and turn off the engine and see him already walking up with my order. Why couldn't I have just waited at the window? The fries were missing from the combo. He had to go back inside to get them. They were not cold, but not fresh. He was never rude. I pulled out my burger to eat and could smell the smoky. That was the last time. After the first bite the 2 tiny tomato slices, almost as small as a cherry tomato, sliced, fell out of the burger in a pool of mayonnaise. A few more bites in and all I could taste was salt swimming in mayo. 𤢠It was so gross. What's the one thing you need when there's that much mayo. At least 1 napkin? Nope, none, nada. No napkins. And unfortunately at this point I'm driving. I've got mayo dripping off my mustache and fingers and have to lick it off and wipe my fingers on my T-shirt. đĄ I don't think I've ever had mayo on a burger at McDonald's. It's always ketchup or special sauce. So, yeah, usually, for my family and I we have a great experience at this location. But today, for me, it was total poop emoji. Yeah, I spelled it out. Itâs fast food wasnât expecting a lot .went through the drive-through ordered one thing she said meet me at the window and I said oh Iâm sorry I have more to order so she has took my second item and and tried to send me to the window again when I did let her know in advance that I have a few things to order. went to go order the third thing I asked to make one adjustment for the person I was ordering for who is not with me, but I had on a paper just asking to take something off of one of the breakfast items and she had the nerve to say sure youâre holding up the line when I was probably there for a total of a minute 30 because she kept trying to send me to the window when my order was not complete. I say I canât make an adjustment on a meal item by asking you to take off something thatâs in the sandwich. She gets quiet and then says with a stern voice what do you want, sir. I get to the window. I asked to speak to a manager to let them know that she is being extremely rude over an order thatâs only three meals which I feel like is very common at a fast food place . This was terrible service. I asked to make adjustment one out of the three things I was ordering and after the fact of getting the meals, I was missing a hash brown, and my orange juice all 3 tasted like it was mixed with water and it probably was.
