Title: Terrible Experience at McDonald's: Unacceptable Service and Incorrect Order
I recently had the misfortune of visiting McDonald's, and I must say that it was an utterly disappointing experience. From the abysmal service and rude guy taking our order to the incorrect food order, everything about my visit was a complete disaster.
First and foremost, the service at this particular McDonald's was shockingly poor. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked any sense of urgency. The ordering experience was the worst I have ever experienced. The guy taking my order was repeating everything back to us incorrect but was doing it on purpose. We ordered a steak beagle for breakfast and they repeated back to us as ok we got you double quarter pounder in the list for you ??? I said excuse me and he then said it again. After ordering the rest of the order he did the same thing for the entire order. At the end of the order he then state my bill was $500. This employee was very unprofessional and rude
To make matters worse, when I finally managed to place my order, the food I received was completely wrong. but what I received was a sad. It was evident that the staff had paid no attention to my order, and the lack of care was infuriating.
When I approached the counter to address the issue, the employees displayed a complete lack of concern. They seemed annoyed by my complaint and offered no apology or solution. It was as if they couldn't be bothered to rectify their mistake or even acknowledge their poor service.
Furthermore, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. The tables were dirty, and the floors were littered with trash. It was evident that the staff had neglected their duties in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
As a loyal customer, I expected much better from McDonald's. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. The lack of attention to detail, the apathetic attitude of the staff, and the overall poor service have tarnished my perception of this once-reliable fast-food chain.
I strongly urge McDonald's management to address these issues promptly. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and receive the correct order. It is imperative that the staff be trained to provide efficient and attentive service, ensuring that customers' needs are met.
In conclusion, my recent visit to McDonald's was an absolute nightmare. The terrible service, incorrect food order, and overall lack of care have left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I sincerely hope that McDonald's takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to avoid disappointing other customers...
Read moreOnly stopped at this mcdonalds cause my grandson wanted it on the way home from Sam's club.. worst mistake!!!! Ordered a hamburger happy meal and a hamburger at 2:10 on the kiosk in the dining room. And of course no receipt. It's now 2:39 and still no food. Go to the counter and 4 other patrons are waiting for their food one of which had been waiting before I came in. He was trying to get a managers attention but every one of the workers were ignoring us (all 8 of the employees) so I yelled back , is their a manager back there, one girl said she was and I told her we , me and the other guy, wanted a refund. Cause we had been waiting 30 mins . She ignored me . Someone else came up claiming g she was a manager ,asked for my receipt told her I didn't have one I ordered at the kiosk but my number was 42 and told her what I ordered and I just wanted my money back. She told me cause I got loud with her., yelling g back asking for a manager she wasnt gonna help me till I apologized. Then she helped every other person waiting and them went back to the kitchen . I yelled hey just give me damn money back so I can leave and get my grandson somerh8ng to eat. Told me she called the cops , and finally refunded something cause it wasn't my order , and gave me most of my money back and told me not to come back . Most definitely will never go back to this location . Workers are rude and lazy . They don't deserve to even ask for a pay raise. !!! The lady that told me she was a manager wouldn't tell me her name but she had the name Lonnie on her bib apron she had on. My daughter was on the phone with me at the time and was like what the hell is going on. As their woman was cussing at me and calling me stupid and racist I called corporate already but I'm sure I won't get a response from them This is the worst location in lakeland
Edit: Monday 10/27/25 Just found out the girl ,Lonnie, thant said she was a manager , infact was not . So ,I'm assuming the first person that came up was the actual manager and didn't wanna do her job so she sent an employee up to pose...
Read moreI'm getting more and more discouraged with McDonald's as time marches on. My frustrations is only compounded because between high school and college I worked at 5 McDonald's locations in two states. I worked every position from cashier, drive present, back cash, grill, chicken, open, close and even maintenance. I used to drop hot cake batter on the griddle before they replaced them with heat and serve hot cakes. I was a 5 star at every position in the restaurant.
When I was there for lunch the other day, aside from utter shock that I wasn't able to order a triple cheeseburger MEAL from the kiosk (that is to say be offered to make the sandwich into a meal by adding a fry and drink), there was a very irritating young man behind the front counter getting the drive thru food orders bagged while loudly singing an unedited Eminem song from the Slim Shady LP and talking just as loudly about how much he misses Eminem (which I don't get because he had to be younger than Eminem's daughter). There was no manager to be seen on the floor anywhere.
What happened to salting the fries with the golden arch motion? The fries never seem to have enough salt anymore.
There were tiny sugar ants crawling all over the drink station counter top. That was very unsanitary as well as off putting.
Maybe I have missed the ECO boat, but I would think the paper cups they used in years past would be far more ecologically friendly than the plastic cups they have now. I get that the plastic cups may be more easy to recycle but they're going to the dump not...
