Monster's Pizza Floral City — Restaurant in Florida

🍕My husband & I order food here 3 - 4 times a month (more often if our month is busier). Their pizza, cheesy bread, & cannolis are Very Good! Our go-to & 'family faves' are their cheesy bread, large supreme pizzas & cannolis. The Cheesy Bread = their cheesy bread only comes in 1 size (they use to do lrg & sml b4 the menu change), now it's the lrg that's 2 sections of ooey-gooey goodness! The dough is always light, never over-cooked, & flavored to compliment the cheese they use. The cheese is ALWAYS loaded up, seasoned to perfection, sprinkled with parmesan, & cooked to perfection where the top is lightly browned, the edges are just a little darker, & the melty gooeyness leaves your mouth watering & wanting more. The Supreme Pizza = their pizzas come in size sml 12", lrg 16", & monster 28". We've never tried a monster size pizza before, that's only bcuz we don't need that much pizza tho, lol. Just like the cheesy bread, the dough is lightly browned, seasoned just right, fluffy & light. You can tell in the 1st bite that the toppings they use are quality ingredients & they are Loaded Up! It definitely makes a difference too, easily making their pizzas a 'family fave' & coming back for more. The Cannolis = the cannolis are Always decadent & sinfully delicious perfection!! (Can you tell they're my personal fave!❣️) They are so good bcuz they are made to order, Never left sitting for the shell to get soft/soggy or melt away the powder sugar. No... The shells are Always fresh (Never frozen), airy/light, perfectly crisp, & flakey. The filling they use is sweet & has a similar texture to buttercream icing. It's flavor is so good, & sweetened just right to compliment the shell perfectly! There's also chocolate chips sprinkled on too, not just a cpl either, enough that you can taste them when you take a bite. Then the coating of powdered sugar sprinkled on top (so good! 😋). They don't skimp on that either, it's generously coated on top; not only lending it's sweetness for a perfect combo for yumminess, but adding to the over-all appearance making it look mouth watering & dying for a taste. They're pretty good at having our order ready in less than 30 mins. The ladies up front are friendly & polite. We don't get to see the cook(s) too often, but the few times I have, they were super friendly & very polite. They always make a point to speak to everyone, even if it's just "Hi, how are you?" when they venture out front. The only thing I wish was different is the menu's price changes. They've recently had to raise their menu prices (some things higher than others). Altho I understand why they had to, with everything getting more & more expensive by the day, we may not be able to eat here as often as before and stay within our budget, unfortunately. Oh, 1 more thing... We haven't ordered delivery bcuz we live only 2 or 3 mins from Monster's Pizza so we always just call in our orders for pick-up with being that close, so I can't speak on their delivery times & such. What I can say is that I Have spoken a few times with the gentleman who delivers when he came in to pick up more orders to deliver; he was very pleasant & friendly, but also quick & appeared to be efficient at his job (from what I could tell anyways). I absolutely recommend anyone who has not tried their food yet to give them a call, stop by, &/or check them out online, you won't be disappointed 🤤🍕😋 I definitely give Monster's Pizza 👍2...

AGAIN UPDATE - 9/23/23 - WELL, looks like it's under new ownership again. I truly hate to say it but they should have stuck to the 2nd owners receipt. The pizza now is just, ehhh, barely okay? The sauce taste like it's from a can, little under cooked dough. It's truly sad, the 2nd Spanish owner from NY had the pizza absolutely to die for...now it's back to ne as nearly what the original owners had it at (Original review you can read below). So it went from a 1 star, to a 5 star and now to a 3 star...all ownership change for each review edit. Please don't get me wrong, the service and people were very nice, just seems corners are being cut and for the price to eat out now and days we can't accept can tasting sauce and slightly doughy crust.

UPDATED REVIEW AS OF 7/7/23 - The turn around has been HUGE. The new legit owners down from NY have this place on lock. The pizza is leagues above what it used to be and is now actually editable, actually it's pretty damn good.., where before you couldn't pay me to eat there. Thanks new owners, I actually have a local Pizza spot now!

OLD REVIEW, OLD OWNERS 2019 - THERES NO WAY ALL THEIR 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE REAL!! THIS PLACE IS BEYOND TERRIBLE. My family and I just moved to Floral City and we're looking for a good pizza place, found monster pizza online and figured we give them a shot. The first time we received the pizza the cheese (what little was on there) was overcooked but somehow the bread was a little doughy and soft but not too bad The main thing was the lack of cheese and the cheese being brown overcooked. Now the second time we figured we would give them another shot and see maybe if it was just the fluke, however the second time was much worse. We received the second pizza and immediately I took a look and I noticed that cheese was way overcooked again (which we ordered extra cheese on for the entire thing again had very little cheese) however this time the bread or dough was like a wet noodle beyond undercooked and the marinara was cold on the inside underneath the cheese. Overall the worst pizza I've ever had. So in some we gave them two chances the first time was mediocre the second time was absolutely horrible, the worst pizza we've ever had and my entire family agreed on it and we're really not that picky when it comes to pizza. Nothing wrong with the customer service but not sure why every pizza they made for us has come out like that I believe they are cooking the pizza at too high a temperature which is overcooking and browning/burning the cheese and making them think that it's fully cooked as the cheese is brown but really the dough comes out very soft mushy like a wet noodle. What's Even worse is that their pricing is not exactly cheap, and we paid $25+ for a large pizza that we ended up just throwing away..Do...

UPDATE 5/13/19 - if I could give negative stars I would! I just ordered a Monster MeatLover Pizza with black olives and pineapple on half. After the delivery guy left, $4 delivery charge and I tipped him $5, I opened the pizza and it's just olives and pineapple with a couple anchovies in a small container. Barely any cheese also! I immediately called and spoke with a young lady that said she was a the owner! First lesson in food business...customer is always right...make it right and apologize! Second it's an insult to say you'll charge me again for the full price! I was willing to to pay the $5 difference and you kept I interrupting me without listening. De-esculate what you took as me yelling when I was trying to point out that it was your error in the first place! You know I ordered a meat lovers monster pizza and then added black olives and half pineapple! This is a shame that when we originally ordered as below you got 5 stars...now 1 star. You business ethics dont leave much to be desired! Were done and Ibwill make sure all the people in Floral City know this!

SEE UPDATE Above- We ordered the Monster Meat Lovers with black olives on half! It was delicious and it's enough to feed 6-8 ppl easily! Was not greasy as a lot of delivered pizzas have been. Wished they delivered more days than just Fri and Sat. They do have a $4 delivery charge, reasonable! Still tipped driver on top of that as well. Would have given 5 stars but gave 4 stars as when we ordered they said it would be 40 minutes for delivery...but didn't come for an hour and 15 minutes...we live 6.5 miles from them.

Suggestion to them on deliveries is ask if they want a paper menu sent with delivery. They say that their menu is on Facebook but I couldn't find it! Also suggest to add their menu to Google maps. We will try delivery again! Give them a try as it...
