To peter or the owner of peters kitchenThis is bill you sent last night ,no one told us that you they would charge us two delivery charges i have been buying food from your store peters kitchen for more than two years now with no issues or complaints but in feb of 2017 i ordered the same meals i ordered last night on 3- 30- 17. In feb i payed my meal. And the $ 4.00 delivery charge, but when I entered my kitchen and saw 1 meal missing i called sergio and he told me ,we made the food it should be there! I told him no theres one missing ! Then he said man you live far ! I said what does that have to do with it ! I have been buying from you for 2 yrs i never complainted before, this is not my fault as the customer! that my food was not in my order as i requested! I was very nice to sergio and he began to rise his voice and he said no more delivery of food for you! I told him that is wrong your workers made the mistake and you blame your customer and hurt your business financially. Because you do not want to admit your stores fault or error that is not a smart business move! I told him i would like to talk to owner and i asked for names and they would not give me there names aswell ! I said why are you hiding now ! Just tell the truth stop making this bigger than what this is! Sergio hanged up phone on me and So my female friend call him back about the missing plate ! He said he would bring it with a delivery charge ! She said yes and payed him $3.00 when he arrived and he said he would still deliver to us ! Ok thank you she told him! We call a few weeks later and they said they could not deliver to us only one delivery driver here tonight ! Ok we called two weeks later the female order taker told us the same thing! Then last night we called the same food Order that we ordered in feb we were told by female order take whether it was peters daughter or not i do not know but i do know 1 you can not understand her voice well when she takes order and i feel...

Wish I could give 3.5 stars because that's what I really want to give. The food is decent; it's good for its cost, but not anywhere near mind-blowing. If I had to give it a word, I'd say it's "good". Just that: "good". I haven't had much interaction with the owners, but the staff seems polite, even if they're a little terse at times—something I don't blame them for at all given how busy Peter's Kitchen can get.

The prices are reasonable and the portions are decent, at least regarding what I order. I tend to steer toward the dumplings (fried or steamed), bourbon chicken, spare ribs, and lo mein. I've never run into anything wrong with these dishes other than the occasional overcooked piece of chicken.

The sauces themselves are quite good, so I'd go so far as to recommend this place for those who want a solid, cheap meal. It's the sort of thing I'd say is a bit more expensive than fast food for something a bit better than fast food. It's not incredible, but it's good for what it is.

On a final note: I highly recommend getting an order of the doughnuts, which are a great dessert for an otherwise average establishment.

1st time order. Just ordered a party platter of chicken low mien and a party platter of Mongolian beef. Happy with the chicken platter, HOWEVER the Mongolian beef platter contained very little beef as you can see in photo. Called to discuss this issue and wasn't given any clear resolution other than this is their normal beef portions for a party platter. Spoke to the manager, and he transferred me to an employe who is not the owner or the manager or the cook, but apparently spoke for both. (Don't ask, b/c I don't know or have ever heard of this type of business management style where an employee not a manager speaks for the business).

I recommend you go to Hong Kong on 152st & 157ave, or Village Chinese . 152st & 137 ave, I have ordered at both and the meat to vegetables portion is more in line of the price charged.
