Iāve wanted to wait to go a few times before I reviewed the place. Iāve got to-go all three times.
Service: is generally great. They have hit every time that they have quoted me whenever Iāve gone to pick up. Staff is generally attentive and friendly.
Generally, the place seems very busy - itās pretty impressive they are able to execute consistently.
Food: Itās good - not the best in the area, but certainly reliable if itās your neighborhood spot. Iāve had the Mole, Enchiladas, and a Burrito in separate visits. The most recent, California burrito - was large and filling. The carne asada was seasoned well - but the fillings inside failed to add any additional flavor to support the well-seasoned beef. Itās almost like the selling point of the burrito is that it is massive. The mole tasted relatively authentic - and Iād say the same for the enchiladas. Enchiladas are by far the best option Iāve had as they were super filling and flavorful. The chips and salsa are OK. The salsa was extremely watery - more watery then a typical authentic table salsa, it was balancing between the boundary of being a tomato purĆ©e and tomato soup. Chips were relatively tasteless with little to no salt.
Price: a little aggressive vs other options in the area, and definitely a little high for what you are getting. I know itās hard to get a gauge of pricing of dining right now due to inflation⦠but $17 for a bigger burrito seems lofty. Itās higher than most options in the area, and not quite worth the full price. In times where your dollar doesnāt go as far as it used to, if Iām paying $17 for a burrito - I would want perfection. That being said, there are some other items on the menu that seem a little more fair-priced for the portion.
If it werenāt for their great service - Iād probably go down to 3-stars, but again, Iāve never had an issue ordering, and Iāve never had a...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen here a a few times over the years as it was a favorite of a friend. Found myself near at lunchtime so, why not? The crowd was still thin before noon. I was greeted immediately upon entry and seated right away. Menu delivered & drink order taken within seconds. The decor is very generic, as much sports bar/mainstream eatery as anything else, no real indication of the cuisine based on the decor. The menu leans heavily towards Americanized versions of Mexican food: tacos, nachos, enchiladas, burritos. Nothing wrong with that but definitely lacking in authenticity. The food quality was quite good but somewhat bland. Chips & salsa brought by when my drink arrived. Salsa was blah, needed some flavor. All I could taste was tomato, no onion, cilantro, tomatillo, peppers, etc. Asked for some hot sauce to give it something resembling flavor. They had several. My enchiladas with refried beans and Mexican rice arrived shortly after and continued the underwhelming flavor parade. Nothing really there. Copious application of hot sauce helped but was insufficient to give the flavors that should be there in the first place. The plate was very hot from sitting under the salamander but the enchiladas were just warm, same with the rice. Lunch special, two enchiladas with two sides and water was $10 so the price was good for the quantity of food but the lack of flavor left me wanting. This apparently is the Mexican version of Applebee's or Chili's, a place you go sometimes at someone else's suggestion and then afterwards...
