I know places get busy. But I live right off Canaveral groves Blvd, right through the light one street down from the railroad tracks and it's taken them over a hour to deliver a salad and cheesecake. Won't be ordering again.
So this isn't your Dad's Italian restaurant. You know the one with the salad bar and bread sticks; the dinning room adorned with wandering vines of Ivy, and pictures of old Italy, while upbeat cheery accordion music plays loudly in the background. I am from Rotterdam, NY. A very Italian and Irish small town in upstate. When I was a child I remember riding to school, or wherever, with my Mom. She would stop to get gas at the end of our street; " $5 on regular" she would tell the frostbitten attendant as he took the cash thru the cracked car window. This was back at a time when you had the option of self-serve, or full-service. If it was evening time my Dad would often get gas, and pick up the pizza he ordered, from the same place, called Augie's Deli (& Gas). I believe it is still there today with his grandson running the place. This place was the real deal... Giant barrels of self-serv pickles, fresh meats I couldn't pronounce, and the smell of vinegar, meat, & cheese, and pizza in the air. Pozzi Bros. Pizza brings me back to my childhood; back to Augie's Deli. The gas station, the smells, and the fresh food all add up to a winning combination you wouldn't quite expect. Pozzi's has survived in their little corner, on word of mouth. That's how I found out about it. So you know it has got to be good! I have had many people mention how good their pizza sauce\marinara is to eat. I tend to agree! Do yourself a favor and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have lived in Brevard County Florida for 20 plus years, and in all that timi have NEVER felt more DISRESPECTED and Humiliated then the other night when I went into Pozzy Bros Pizza in Cocoa off of US1 in the Marathon gas station and all I did was grab a couple of napkins before I made it out to the front door the gentleman who was working and I used the term gentleman very loosely he ran up to me and took the napkins out of my hands and said you cannot have those you're stealing our napkins. I have never in my life stole a paper napkin that is on a table for people to use this man also said this not quietly he said it in a store full of people making me feel like I was a thief! I have ate at Pozzy Bros before and I absolutely love their food but because of this Boy deciding to be so rude over paper napkins I will never go back to Posey Brothers because he literally humiliated and disrespected me over PAPER NAPKINS!!! It is and was the most ridiculous/humiliatiāø thing I have ever come across in all my years of living in Central Florida not to mention that my family works in the service industry and would never reprimand a customer in first plase for taking a paper napkin with them to go this was UTTERLY DISGUSTING Behavior and unfortunately I will not be back and they lost a great customer because I sincerely loved their food but I will not be treated like...
