THIS Is not a bought and paid for review... actual person who was told the wrong thing by a business about its stance on Veterans and service members.
Food was excellent Place looks great Price bad Treatment of veterans and service members...bad
Guy ringing me up said my sandwiches I was ordering were 15.99 each. Then when he was ringing me up another guy says nope they are 18.99...wow.
Also I served 33 years in Army and as I am ordering i remembered last time I was here a guy was getting a discount for being a fireman and the guy ringing him up said he honors all heros.
I asked for the military hero discount and was told only heros they discount are firemen...bet you if our sheriff Bob showed up or any PCSO showed up you would offer them a discount as well.
I am not a hero apparently as I am not a fireman but instead went to 2 deployments to over seas and multiple other deployments to help other countries and deploying units
Wow wow ..thx for the good sandwich sorry you do not think the military or veterans are heroes..
Response to the owner
Nope I didn't get the brisket...I ordered the roast beef and think the new guy on your register sold me the wrong thing ...I could not eat it as I am on Chemotherapy and cannot eat spicy or peppery foods as it makes me sick. My kids ate it.
I did let your team know I was military and was told they only honored local heroes...so yes I let them know I was military, but if I have to explain I was in the military and did X, Y or Z to prove I am a hero then...wow.
In regards to your comments about telling your team about my service to the United States of America:
I have a Veteran stamp on my FLDL, I have VA ID as I am disabled from my military service, I have a military ID...is this not enough to prove I have served and done more than 90% have?
And yes it stings that your business says that about Veterans and service members as we were the backbone...
Read moreThe subs here are good to very good. So 4 stars for that. The subs here also are expensive â up to $20 for one 12 inch sub with Waygu beef. But on the menu it was priced at $17.95 with a $1.00 upcharge? So they donât charge what they price. Then a surprise 3% credit card pass through surcharge on top of that now prompts this surprise 3 star review. $45 total for two 12â subs and a small Mac & Cheese and no drinks? Listen, we all know itâs not Subway and that would be an unfair pricing comparison. But itâs not worth double the price for what you DO get. 2 stars for poor pricing presentation. Nice to try it but we wonât be repeat customers. FYI: I know a lot about beef. This is not authentic Japanese A-5 Waygu from the Kobe, Japan prefecture. Anything else labeled as âWayguâ is largely just marketing.
RESPONSE TO OWNER: Looks like some salt on your tongue too. ; ) I would try not to make your customers look bad over "a whole dollar". Cause guess what? You charge it... so it must be important to you too. And yes, I'm aware of the breed and its larger geographical reach. But most customers don't know these differences and assume it is the famous Japanese A-5 when its not. That is not your fault and to be fair, it is NOT at all deceptive positioning on your part, as Waygu absolutely IS a breed of cow --just like Aberdeen Angus or Hereford. But I stand by my convictions on using "Waygu", in general, as a marketing tool to drive sales. So yes, just my so-called, self-proclaimed and completely subjective "opinion". I don't recall citing it as an "expert" opinion, however. Your words, not mine. I DO appreciate your impassioned response to my critique as an proprietor who takes a great deal of pride in their sandwich offering, which...
