Santana Pizza Palm Beach Gardens — Restaurant in Florida

First time I had anything but pizza here. Ordered a chicken parm dinner and calzone. Was first disappointed when I got home as it appeared there was very little sauce on the parm and not much cheese although I paid extra. I can't imagine what it would be like without the extra cheese. But it was delicious. The pasta already had sauce stirred in as well as some over the top so it did not need as much sauce as my minds eye was telling me. The chicken itself was moist and tender. As for the cheese it was adequate. I don't know why restaurants in Florida are so skimpy with their cheese on their parmigiana dishes. It served the purpose but as an ex New Yorker I love my parmigiana swimming in cheese. But as I said it was delicious. 😋. The dish comes with a side salad which is nothing to write home about but the creamy Italian dressing was very tasty. Also comes with a side of crispy garlic bread. I ordered the calzone with double ricotta(no extra charge) which kept it nice and moist. Tasty. It is also served with a tasty side of sauce in a size that is adequate for the purpose. If you really like a lot of sauce with you calzone you might want to order a second side at a slight upcharge. The pricing is reasonable. The food is not what you might expect from a fine dining establishment. But this is a takeout place and the food is much more like thoughtfully prepared homemade....

This is a throwback to the old school pizza place. Nonsense has no place here and doesn’t belong. Just classic stainless steel countertops and the traditional high heat commercial pizza oven. This is how you know you’re going to get good food.

I was greeted immediately upon walking in. I ordered 3 slices of pizza and wings. The gentleman that took my order said it would be about 15 minutes and asked if I would be sitting in my truck so he could let me know when the order was ready. This was my first time eating here so I was still a little skeptical about how the slices would taste. Sometimes when pizza is sold by the slice it can taste old and may have been sitting around too long. I was wrong. The pizza was delicious and did not taste like it had been sitting around for a long time. Now let me tell you about these wings. They are big and were cooked perfectly. I got them tossed in the pirate sauce and highly suggest you do the same. This sauce was amazing and super flavorful. The only unfortunate thing is that I don’t live here and won’t be able to eat here again. But if I lived nearby this would be my favorite pizza/wing joint.

I decided to call in an order for two slices of cheese pizza. The man on the phone told me that he only had one slice left and “was Not planning on making anymore”. What...? If I am not mistaken the name of this location has pizza in the name. And I am not asking to pickup some adventurous exotic slice of pizza. Just cheese pizza. It clearly states that I can purchase by the slice right on the menu and even within the physical menu in the establishment. It doesn’t seem to make much sense now does it. False advertising even perhaps. Let me also note that I understand a pizza place not making more by the slice pizza pies close to closing time. But this was 3 hours prior to the listed closing time...

Don’t expect good service here. Nothing but disappointment and dissatisfaction. 0 stars...
