The restaurant and the Lanai looked clean and tidy. Indoor seating only offers hard chairs and hard bench seats. The outdoor seating overlooks a lovely pond. Unfortunately, again, the seats leave a lot to be desired. Unless your bottom's 12" or less in the sitting position your hips will be painfully wedged between two hard metal bars. I ordered the Firehouse dog Cafe mocha and was asked whether I wanted it hot or cold. I selected cold but I was not told that it was going to cost $1 extra just to throw my coffee over some ice. It was delicious! The Phil E Burrito was huge and more than enough for two people. It's loaded with shaved steak, bacon, green peppers, onions, hash browns, scrambled eggs provolone & American cheeses, and fire mayo. I omitted the mushrooms. The fire mayo was HOT!! The burrito had a great flavor but was extremely greasy. I had to wrap it in napkins and the grease soaked through them. There was a pool of grease left on the plate. You are offered gravy for an additional charge of $2.00. The Honey Hot Chicken Biscuit had a nice hot/sweet flavor -a great combination. The chicken was crispy and the biscuit homemade & delicious. An egg was offered as an addition to the biscuit and is listed on the bill as an additional $1.50. The menu is inventive and enticing. Flavors were great. Service was just a bit above average. All the servers were friendly. We probably will go back but will have to sacrifice the al fresco dining experience because of the horrible outdoor seats. My only other complaints are the square handled knives which are so popular with lower class restaurants. Those pointy tips dig into one's hand when using that utensil. The napkins are about the cheapest grade available and you will go through a dozen of them especially when your food is...

Skinny Dogz has been an exceptional experience from the moment we walked through the door. I got the local diner feeling and great customer atmosphere. There was a cute little coffee pitstop to the right and the main action in front. We got to seat ourselves wherever we wanted, and we were seen to within a few minutes of sitting down.

Our server for the day was itzel, wonderful customer service.

We started with two coffees, a cold brew, and a hot coffee. Both are excellent for black coffee. We tried their firehouse mocha and hot chocolate, and both were the perfect amount of bitter and sweet.

As for the main course, we got their XL breakfast burrito, chicken, and waffles with strawberry butter and maple syrup, and last but not least, the french toast.

Being honest, the chicken and waffles were a top favorite, and i only wish fresh strawberries came with the strawberry butter, but otherwise, it was well seasoned and perfectly crunchy!

The french toast was well made and went well with the whipped cream.

Unfortunately for the last meal of our morning, the one we looked forward to was their XL breakfast burrito. We heard lots about it, but i wouldn't order it again. The ingredients were up to par, but i have to say it was extremely bland and boring. Even when i added salt and pepper, it didn't really match my standards. It would've been fine if the meat was at the very least seasoned. I would've recommended it. But for anyone looking at the menu? Stay away...

My wife and I came for our first (and now last) visit 7/16/23. Placed our order, waited nearly 20 minutes for cold french fries and covered with black pieces from old grease. Sandwhich, philly cheesesteak, had hardly any meat, was very small......didn't even halfway fill the bun, even with mushrooms and cheese! Nobody checked on us our entire meal. I sat with an empty glass for over half my meal, nor did anyone even stop by to see how our meal was. Did I mention this was our first time here? When asked at the end of our meal, how it was, my wife said it was aweful. The girl asked if we were joking to which we both calmly replied no. She said she would have the manager come and talk with us. Somebody did come by (eventually), but only asked if we needed a box and finally, if I wanted more to drink. That individual never asked how our meal was so we assumed she was another waitress, only find out she was the manager (Candace)! She never said who she was, nor that she was the manager. We live in the community and had high hopes. Dashed! Won't be back and...
