Boulevard Deli and Tavern — Restaurant in Florida

Decent Food. I ordered a calzone and midway thru eating requested an additional side of the marinara sauce from our waitress. I waited and waited. There was only 1 other table with people eating and several other customers drinking and watching games. The other 3 people at my table finished eating while I still waited. The waitress finally came with the marina sauce and said that it would be an additional $1. She stated that she wasn't able to add it to my tab as it had already been closed out. When I requested the additional marinara sauce, I was not informed there would be a charge and by the time she finally came, the other half of my calzone was cold that I instead just asked for a box to bring it home. I told her she could keep the sauce, but she just stood there with a perplexed look on her face that another person in my party handed her a $1.00 bill. She then had the nerve to tell him that with tax it would be $1.06. He then gave her another dollar. With the closed out tab, she would have seen that I gave her an 18% tip that to push for $.06 after me not even wanting the sauce when it finally arrived that she could have just let this go. Dear Boulevard Tavern, my boyfriend and I visited your restaurant for a midnight snack. We ordered 2 ten piece wings (mango habanero & caribbean jerk) and a side of fries. I’m delighted to announce that the fries pulled through and improved the meal to 3 stars (I guess you can call them the GOAT 🐐). Regarding the wings, they were good—but not $1.50 per piece good. The seasoning tasted scrumptious but our wings were unevenly coated and we noticed an absence of seasoning on one side. The ratio of seasoning per wing was not $1.50 worthy, nor the size of the wings.

Also, I wish it was clear on the menu which seasonings are wet vs dry. I was expecting the carribean jerk to be wet, but unfortunately, it was not. The mango habanero did not have an appropriate amount of habanero heat, my boyfriend expected to be engaged to the toilet 🚽 by the end of the night but was sadly disappointed.

We did see the snazzy bar inside and will return in the near future for some drinks 🍹. Please provide the name of the best dish you have as redemption so I can change the 3 star rating to 5 stars.

Well unfortunately our experience was not the best last night we walked in wanted to watch a basketball game and all eat dinner, ( seven of us) we found a place where we would like to sit but the waitress then told us that area was closed so she could clean up and proceeded to take us to another area where we were unable to watch the basketball game because the two TVs in that area we were she wanted us to sit were broken due to a storm the night before and this was at 9:30 p.m. mind you they're open until 2:00 a.m. but we were very hungry so we decided to stay and have dinner anyway, Then one of our guests ordered a hamburger and she asked how would you like that cooked they answered her and said medium rare she proceeded to said we only serve them medium or well. ( My question was why did you bother to ask how we wanted it cooked) when we go out to dinner we try to avoid the Applebee's type chain so that they will cook to order but I guess they don't here, must not serve good ground beef. Well needless to say that hamburger was hardly worth eating the rest of the food was just okay, we will not...
