Wish I could give ZERO. I was waiting outside due to too many people inside and I didn’t want to disobey social distancing so we waited in the car for the 4-5 customers to finish ordering. It took a while because there was just one employee. It took him quite some time to finish them all and the time was 8:48 when my girlfriend and I could finally order. We go inside and Micheal Benedict, the employee at the time (hopefully that is his real name; I’m going to find out tomorrow with manager) says “sorry we are closing up.” So I look at the time and say you’re not closed for 12 more minutes. He just repeats himself “sorry we are closing up.” My girlfriend and I then began to ask him a series of questions as to why they’re closed early: Is something broken? Did you run out of food? What is the reason you are closing early? He literally just repeats himself! “SORRY WE ARE CLOSING UP.” He had no customer service nor hospitality skills and had zero communication skills. He literally just kept repeating himself and didn’t answer or acknowledge anything else that we were saying. Nothing but “sorry we are closing now.” He gave no legitimate reason and was rude. I have been coming for 6+ years and been doing the surveys on the receipts because it’s usually great service (plus a free cookie helps) however, that was not the case. Never going back. I have worked in the industry (specifically an assembly line style quick food restaurant like subway, chipotle, etc) and I was not allowed to close early just cause I felt like it. If I had not been waiting for 30 minutes or so prior it would not have been an issue (I usually don’t go to restaurants right before they are closing but I have been waiting before 8:15. And YOU WERENT EVEN CLOSED YET! Rude. Never going back. Oh and I took video of the time and him having half the line put away. If it wasn’t for covid we would have been in the restaurant in line waiting behind those inside and you can’t refuse service if I’m inside the...
Read moreI went to this store on 08/21/2025. My kids went into the restroom to wash their hands before they got their subs. I started to order and the young lady behind the counter didn’t seem too approachable, her demeanor was totally off, lack of customer service but I still didn’t think anything, I continued to ordered. I ordered 3 tuna subs, told her what bread I wanted it. She got nippy and asked me if I was ordering foot long or 6 inches, I proceeded to tell her foot longs. I asked her if she spoke Spanish because she was playing Spanish music on the subway radio, she seemed super upset and hyper expressed that she didn’t or that she tries not to speak Spanish. I am not sure what to make of that, but ok, anyways, by the time she pulled my 3 bread, she had made my appetite disappear. My kiddos were super disappointed and my son that’s 11 yrs old, was completely confused and asked me why was she so rude? An 11 yr old, was more aware of an adult behavior, than the own young adult that was behind the counter. I understand that people have bad days, we all do, but you can’t take your anger or frustration out on other people. I went to the subway on 434, next to the dollar store and the McDonald and the young man that took care of us, was a total charm! I was so glad that I still drove to another subway, because he made up for Keila’s lack of empathy. I love subway, always have and as long as there are subways, I will continue to buy their subs. I just hope that I never run into another Keila because she almost ruined the rest of my already bad day. When I went there I was already having a terrible day but I chose kindness and she for some reason chose aggression. Keila needs a job but didn’t seem to want to work. I hope that Keila finds a job that suits her better, but customer service is not her...
Read moreI ordered 2 subs online with the FLBOGO promo code and in the instructions box in my app I asked to sub out rotisserie chicken for regular chicken. Once I got to the store the woman behind the counter ( the manager) asked my name for the ordered and said she couldn't sub the chicken out. I was in disbelief that she couldn't make it right for me, the paying customer. I said I would buy the other chicken if need be amd walked out to get my debit card. And as I walked out I said "wellp, she's getting a bad review " . Went back in and she hands me a receipt saying she voided my order..returning my payment accusing me of cussing while walking out of the store. I said what happened to customer service..she just looks at me and angrily highlights her managers email on my void/refund recipe. She embarrassed me..was extremely out of place and doesn't handle her job well from my prospective. Lacks customer service skills, kindness, and needs more training..or find a job shes happy with serving her local neighborhood!! Myself AND my family and friends will be told about this interaction and will not give this store our business any longer. Avoid this location!!! She also let someone sleep on the benches inside the store with a jacket over their head. Who wants to see that walking into get dinner for...
