Subway — Restaurant in Florida

I don't understand how this has an average 3.8 stars, look at least the horrible one star reviews. I normally try to only give positive feed back as I feel most reviews are always complaining. I have to say this is a subway so it's basic and you know what you're getting for the most part. My problem is with the management and customer service. I have live her for 8 years and its just convenient, in theory, but its always a disappointment. The bread and produce is always bad, the staff is even worse for some reason. They are slow, rude, and don't listen and I know how it is working customer service/ restaurants but seriously get some respect and do a decent job. I'm sure its a combination of ownership not paying enough, poor treatment, and or just bad applicants. I actually wish corporate would step in and do something. This space could be any other sandwich shop and with different ownership hopefully better. My advice is go one more exit in either direction and get something else,...

Arrived 20 min before close and nothing was put away and there were at least 30 loaves of bread still in the bread racks. All of the food in the displays were all full. Rang the bell to notify someone we were waiting to give our order. After 5 min of waiting the gentleman in the back yells “Not open!” We tried to talk to him but he yelled again “Not open!” But with more of an attitude this time. I’m not asking for a steak dinner, I just wanted a sandwich. We could have been in and out in 5 min. We even attempted to call 5 times before coming in to try a give a heads up or even order over the phone. We were hung up on every time. You could hear them answer the phone and then they hang up. I just got off of a 4 hour flight and wanted a sub from the location I always go. I won’t be going back...

Worst customer service, the male that's older and bigger I think manager is the worst...... all these reviews talk about him and how he's so terrible why doesnt subway fire him. ... about 6 months ago I went in and he's so by the rules he's counts 6 black olives for a food long . Friends and family worked at subway and never counted them out just grab a hand full and spread on sandwich...... it's the only veggie I get so want a little extra. Charge me more that fine but refused...... today 4.13 go in and give it another try and same thing refused to give more than 6 black olives and no smile or hello just "what do u want".... offered a decent tip and he's like no..... he's so rude I wish he gets fires soon and get someone else...
