Read moreI had the misfortune of my 1.5 yo LG TV start acting as if it was possessed. I called LG, who took me through some First Tier troubleshooting, nothing of which worked. Since the TV was six mo out of warranty and behaving "totally unlike our fine electronic products", the support person had me upload my purchase docs to see if they could do anything for me.
A few days later, I received an email stating they approved a one-time repair free of charge. Yay to LG! Well, until I saw the repair shop they chose. It was thirty miles away down crazy busy I-4 and I thought I had to bring it there, leave it, and go back to get it several days later, leaving me with high blood pressure from the trips and no TV for several days.
But, NO! Martin from AMD called me the very next day and kindly asked the behavior of the TV. Based on my description, he knew exactly what the problem was, and then proceeded to tell me he'll order parts, get them next working day, AND THEN COME OVER TO INSTALL THEM! Shouldn't take more than thirty minutes, he said.
Well, he showed up, took care of business, and then he was gone. Friendly, conversant, and knowledgeable - that's Martin.

Read moreI needed a HDMI port fixed on my LG C2 42. Martin was very responsive and kind from the beginning. He let me know that he ordered the part and it would be in the next week. Sure enough it was, and he gave me a call. He came right on time, and got it fixed very quick. Everything seems to be working great so far. Overall very happy, and would recommend!
Update Item began showing same issue not long after I left this review. Martin got back to me saying that he would contact LG on september 26th. It is a weird issue, so I understand. Now it's January 9th, and still no response... I don't know if he is busy or what is going on. I would have liked to atleast get a update, a response, something. Hopefully soon, this will become fixed.
Update 2 Martin came back out today and looked at the issue again. It is intermittent so it is hard to display. I had a video to show him, and he contacted LG right away. Now, we have to wait to hear back, but glad he came out! It is a very odd issue, but he seems determined to...
