SW Grill — Restaurant in Florida

I live on the grounds and was really trying to give this place a chance. Been here 3 times to dine in and another 2 times for carry out. Very inconsistent food. Sometimes the cook makes the tacos differently with wrong toppings. Club sandwich dry and doesn’t even come with mayo on it or at least they keep forgetting to put mayo on it. Burger is so generic. I’m confident the burger patty is a basic frozen patty thawed to order. I have also tried their smash burger which isn’t “smashed” at all. Rather just a normal double cheese burger. I am willing to accept mediocre food for the sake of convenience.

What bothers me the most is the service. Most of the girls that run this place are really immature. They provide for not the best service experience. The inside has no decor. Pretty much a turn key operation that they just took over. We switched to carry outs for the once in a blue moon order for “taco Tuesday” special $3.00 tacos. They are small and served on the sweet Hawaiian flour tortillas. Something I can make at home but when we don’t want to cook, we take advantage of the special. However, when I called to place a carry out today, one of the immature girls answers and said “we don’t do the taco special for carry out, it’s dine in only…” I explained that I ordered the special as a carry out twice before. She said well they were not supposed to do it for you.. my question is, what’s it to you guys if I order it as a take out? Why force me to eat inside your dingy place and wait 1 hour for my food? Charge me for the take out container, just don’t force me to eat inside.. the last time my wife picked up food, one of the girls kept swearing behind the bar.. It honestly feels like this is a food truck and not a real restaurant.. I would prefer to actually walk up and get my own food than to deal with the terrible service.. Anyways they lost my business and I will certainly share my sentiments with my neighbors about this place. What a bad business model and to turn away a customer for no reason. Food was pretty decent. Service was absolutely horrible! Extremely slow - an hour wait for our food and then the wrong order came to the table. They never brought out my wife’s food and then told her she will put the order in now - after we were already there for a hour and everyone else has already finished their meals. There is literally our table and one other table. It’s not like it was busy or anything. The server was extremely inattentive. Completely ruined Mother’s Day! Never...

Based on the 5 star reviews and proximity to Costco, we were looking forward to lunch here. It was a little hard to find - hidden in the back/bottom of the Clubhouse. It took 30 minutes to get a sandwich and a taco. No refills of beverages were offered. I think our sandwich and fries were ready for a while because when they got to our table they weren't hot.
