Don’t waste your time. I never write bad reviews but we had such a bad experience I have to warn others. We came in for lunch and our waiter was so sweet.

He said he would split up our checks and would make sure we were taken care of, but we came as a group of girls (8 of us) for lunch and it was completely dead on a Saturday - not a single table in the restaurant was taken. We ordered bottomless mimosas and just enjoyed each others company. The food was extremely sub-par. A bit into the meal there was a bit of thunder. After the thunder, our experience completely did a 180. The general manager, Tara, came out and told us she could not split checks due to the wifi (because of the “storm”) but said she could still process cards. As someone that uses Square quite frequently (their card reader system), I knew this was a lie and we witnessed her yell at our server in front of our table for telling us he’d split it. She continued to lie with every question I asked.

After I politely asked about how they could run one card if the wifi was apparently down, she got very aggressive with our table and told us we could no longer order any bottomless mimosas because we were “cut off” even though we were very polite and continued to order food and dessert. It ruined our experience and it really upset our group. I asked her if her aggression was because we wanted our checks split and she got defensive and said it was due to the fact that she knew we were “overserved” which did not make sense.

Overall- if you’re looking for a good atmosphere to enjoy with a group, do not waste your time...

HORRIBLE! If I could give it negative stars I would. We had a party of 5 and got there right when they opened and there was only one table. We ordered immediately and it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our food. After an hour my husband went to the manager and she could care less. She said it would be there shortly and acted totally annoyed to be bothered. At 1 hour 20 minutes. No one checked on us. Then all the food was brought out except my 8 year old daughters.I went up and the manager to tell her and she was EXTREMELY rude in her attitude and told me the kitchen was backed up because they were busy in a very snarky way. They were busy NOW because the restaurant filled up. She was super annoyed, unhelpful and rude. I pointed that out and she threw a fit in the most immature way I have seen in my 45 years and literally stomped off. I was told by a server they gave my daughters food to another table and they would have to remake it. It was by far the worst interaction I have had in a restaurant that I can remember. We have been here tons of times (the other location) and will never come back after this. This is the first bad review I have ever written about a restaurant because I know how much they need good reviews. But I felt this strongly about it. It was unreal. Mistakes happen. The way I was treated by the woman was unacceptable however. That was not a mistake. I have seen a lot of bad service in my time but this one took the cake. Never seen...

Awesome, awesome surprise. The restaurant name implies BBQ only, but their seafood is top notch. Now, we did get the loaded Pork Nachos as an appetizer along with the Shrimp Etouffee and Charcuterie Board. All were cleaned plates with everyone wanting more.

The entrées were equally surprising seafood dishes at a place named after a pig. The Scallops and Crab Cake were perfectly prepared and the sauces on the plate were absolutely spot-on for joining the two seafood proteins. Just look at the pictures to see the scrumptious dish.

Grouper is served at just about every restaurant on 30A. I've had great, and I've had 'blah.' This was great. It's a very generous portion of Grouper but perfectly cooked from center to edge - no burnt ends. The Potato + Parmesan crust is a great compliment to the fish but doesn't take over the flavor of the fish. This is hard to accomplish with Grouper and they obviously have this recipe perfected. It's a must try!

The Bar Drinks are the icing on top. Their specialty drinks are hand crafted and muddled with tasty flavors. They also delivered very good mixed spirits for common Kentucky Mules and Salty Dogs.
