Pizza by the Sea at WaterColor Crossings — Restaurant in Florida

Let me start off by saying the pizza we ordered was great. I ordered a veggie pizza with vegan (daiya) cheese. Although I'm not sure if the crust is vegan; and I'm not sure the staff would know either.

The service and atmosphere of the pizzeria does not reflect the prices. The pizzeria had no real theme, and if it did have one, I would call it "ugly themed." Pretty disappointing given the location. The staff was unprofessional, and it seems like they regularly mess up orders. The prices... oh jeez... I pretty much paid $35 plus a tip (that was asked for before I was given any service which is very strange to me) for a large pizza and one drink. That being said, I would go back. The pizza was good. I didn't go there for world class service. I will probably order take out though next time.

My experience: Trying to place an order, I had to wait on the cashier to (unprofessionally) scold the boys making the pizza and for her to stop messing on her phone. Then the wrong pizza was brought out. When the cashier brought it out, she apologized on behalf of the boys making the pizza and reasoned with the fact they got it wrong by telling us they were *ded (the R word). Very unprofessional and unnecessary in my opinion. As we were waiting on the pizza we ordered, I noticed the only other people there were doing the same. We had Pizza by the Sea WATERCOLOR TOWNCENTER cater our Welcome party event for our sons wedding weekend on 9/20/2024 on the beach. Oh my goodness - first of all Darrell from Pizza by the Sea was a gem to work with. He was very helpful with deciding how many pizza's and salads to order for our 140 plus party and the amount was perfect, He was very reliable and efficient, always getting back to me and answering my questions in a very timely manner. He was patient with me and very friendly. He took it upon himself to be the one delivering for our event, which was a comfort to me. He was on time and the pizza's were delicious and hot. Everything worked out perfectly that evening thanks to Darrell and his reomendations. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the pizzas tasted. I highly recommend Darrell and Pizza by the Sea for any of your catering or wedding needs. He was the best to work with and so was Kiki who also helped me out at Pizza by the Sea. Thank you and can't wait to come back to Seaside and have some delicious Pizza by the Sea Pizza. ...

Can’t seem to understand reviews under 5 stars. I have lived in Santa Rosa Beach since the inception of PBTS (24 years to be exact, but I’ve seen them grow long after they even came about). These guys work day in and day out to make us happy, accommodated, and fulfilled. Whether I am hungover wanting a baked spaghetti or craving a buffalo chicken pizza on a Tuesday night, they have my back. Yes, I may have to call a few times to get my dial-in to get through to them but gosh, isn’t that the best case-scenario? I love that I can get my dinner craving from a reputable place that has so many eager customers fighting for their dinner accommodations. Listen guys, this is the best pizza place in the panhandle, but if you can’t and won’t wait the time it takes to get through to the front desk (literally 2 employees, give them a break!) then go to the gazillions of other pizza places that are waiting for your services as you will be 1 of the 5 of their customers for the day.
