Valencia is one of the restaurants inside of The Grove resort and we ordered dinner and went for their breakfast buffet. I would not recommend either. We ordered dining through their website and there’s not an ETA for pickup so we just had to guess or wait 15 minutes and walk there. The fries were good but the buffalo wings had some sort of aioli sauce along with the buffalo sauce that made it unbearable to eat. There’s only “6” wings for $15 and it was NOT warm or hot when we got it once it was ready. Not worth. The Valencia burger was 2/5, not tasty. Tipping kitchen staff via online order is NOT optional either so FYI. Breakfast buffet was $28pp and server took a while to come to us so we decided to just have one person give our drinks while we go to the buffet and they told us that we HAD to ALL wait until the server comes to the table. It was weird. Nothing to rant about, their breakfast is probably better than their dinner and that’s not saying a lot. Staff there didn’t seem like they wanted to be there and it was not a good experience overall.

Our first experience here was Nov 2022 and thanks to hurricane conditions we ate here all 4 nights we stayed. (We were pleasantly surprised and were happy to get to eat here every night/morning) We came back for a quick stay yesterday and again, it didn’t disappoint. I remembered the chicken Alfredo we had and it was amazing as it was before. Our waitress Jelitza was outstanding!! She was so sweet, personable, and accommodating. She knows customer service 100%. Enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait to come back.

I can honestly say these were the worst ribs I've ever had in my entire life. Basically rubber. I can excuse cooking ribs poorly but the sauce was basically ketchup. Honestly if you are at this restaurant ask to taste the BBQ sauce. It's gotta be 95% hunts ketchup. The burger and chicken sandwich were ok but at almost $20 a pop pretty expensive. I am giving two starts instead of 1 because our server (despite recommending the ribs) was pretty good and very friendly with the kids.

Expected More in Orlando - A Disappointing Stop Was really hoping for a great meal while visiting Orlando, and the name "Valencia" sounded promising, perhaps hinting at some nice Spanish or Mediterranean flavors. Unfortunately, our experience was a solid two stars, and that's being a bit generous. We definitely wouldn't go back. The biggest letdown was the food itself. While the menu descriptions read well, what arrived at our table was pretty underwhelming. My dish, in particular, was quite bland and lacked the vibrant taste I was anticipating. It felt like it was just going through the motions, without much care put into the preparation or seasoning. For the prices they were charging, we expected a much higher quality. Service wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't a highlight either. Our server seemed a bit disengaged and apathetic, and we had to flag them down a couple of times for basic things. It just added to the overall feeling that this wasn't a place that was firing on all cylinders or particularly concerned with guest experience. With so many dining options in Orlando, this was a regrettable choice for one of our vacation meals. We were hoping for a memorable taste of something good and instead left feeling pretty unimpressed and wishing we'd picked...

People can stay home too eat but choose to go out and spend their hard-earned money on a dining experience. This establishment significantly misses the mark. Underneath the smiles from the servers and the aesthetics of the place lies a total lack of attention to detail that culminates into an extremely bad experience that's hard to mentally reconcile.

It took the server far too long to recognize us at the table.

-Our main dish and appetizers were all stacked up on top of each other, which caused us to end up with a table cluttered with various food items.

Components of our basic order were wrong.

We had to get up several times to find the server, who rarely checked up on us.

Drink orders that only require an individual to pour out of a bottle (i.e. wine) arrived significantly passed a reasonable expectation of time.

the serve brought us a small cup of sauce that was filled to the brime, as a result was spilling all over the table.

These are just a few things that cumulatively piled up into one bad experience. The bad thing is that they automatically add gratuity, which prevents you from using the tip as a reflection of...
