I didn’t realize that Eddie was no longer the manager however he was so quick to diffuse a situation that the team leader on duty, Jessica, Escalated so fast. I walked into your establishment to pick up a order that I did on the mobile app and it was an in-store pick up to pay at the cash register. Once I walked in I paid I waited for the food the gentleman who made the food test to me, sir my apologies, but we don’t have, the turkey melt at this time we could only do your egg omelette and I said OK so could we just maybe do a pepperoni or could we do another melt? He says let me check. He goes to the back to check and comes back as unfortunately, we will not be able to assist you. I said OK no problem. How can I get a refund? He says to me let me grab my manager so Miss Jessica the team or maybe manager duty comes out said hello Man The and she’s like how can I help you with only an attitude that if you rewind the cameras and zoom in you can look at the cameras and see how aggravated she looked because she was assisting or maybe being bothered or etc.. Now I said I can take anything it doesn’t matter. It could be a low value or we can get a refund well then you can go to the app and get it yourself. I said excuse me you heard me and I said no excuse me, can you show me how to do that on the app? No, I won’t. You can do it yourself And then she walks away from me and that’s when my frustration began. I screamed out. Oh hell no you’re not gonna do that and stay with my money. You can look at the camera and you can see that looking for Eddie. Again, I did not know he was not in Management at the time and I said him I need you right now please help me. He actually went back-and-forth because the lady Jessica team leader did not want to refund at all. Did not want to refund did not want to get out of the back room at all Till eventually I said hello. I paid this at the register that’s when she came out and even when she came out with her stank attitude, I didn’t know she was doing. I didn’t know the refund was gonna be in cash or put back on the card and when we’re at the register it once again if you zoom in through your cameras, you will see that she’s like you wanna put in your card. I’m gonna excuse me. I knew what the procedure was at the end of the day. It is pathetic. OK that your company has someone like that representing your brand your company unfortunately as large as any multibillion dollar Corporation can get again. I don’t know why Eddie’s not the Manager. The atmosphere was different., Customer service and the staff in general was great but lately everything has been changed dramatically , Customer service is not the same, you constantly see them distracted on their cell phones are talking, not job related things to coworkers etc., and on top of that, I see how they keep increasing the prices dramatically and reducing amount in some other items in the menu !! For example the burrito bowl it’s like they increase the price every year and know the price is $9.49!!!!! With!!!! a burrito in a plate non-premium quality ingredients Jesus with that amount of money, I could go to any buffet or buy a decent meal at any regular restaurant ! Read moreEvery day they are advertising their breakfast sandwiches and other items, and even have a promotion for it going on at the moment of this review. From 5am to whenever.
Every day they don't even have a single sandwich on the line. It's not a matter of them selling out before I arrive, because I get there really early, it's that the workers full-on refuse to make anything. I will even go to the kiosk and go to the breakfast menu, which also advertises their bacon and egg sandwiches, and find that the only thing they are willing to make are their cream cheese sandwich thing.
This isn't a new thing, and to my understanding this WaWa is not understaffed, because I often see 2-4 workers at the sandwich prep area twiddling their thumbs. This has been happening every day without fail for almost the past half a year. Whenever I ask "Hey, are you guys making any breakfast sandwiches?" or "When will you guys have any ready?", they will give me every excuse under the sun, instead of answering either question directly.
I am constantly seeing a lot of construction workers and other people going there really early in the morning, so it's definitely not like they don't have a crowd to sell anything to. The 7/11 across the street even has stuff under the heating lamp at even earlier times.
