If I could give my experience for January 27th at 9:12 zero stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. I live right down the street from Twistee Treat, which makes me a regular and loyal customer regardless of Wawa being next door. I love the different varieties that I receive at Twistee Treat, so I go there all the time and generally have a great experience.
I took my entire family to the Poinciana location, and our cashier was Carmela. First, we waited 5 minutes in the rain without her acknowledging us while we waited. When we were ordering, she continued to cut us off to ask if our order was finished, and cut us off when we were placing our order. When we got to the window, we waited for over 10 minutes for the entirety of our order to be completed.
It was then that we realized that the cups that we received that were supposed to be LARGES were the same size as the small cups that half of us received. When we asked her about this, Carmela B huffed and said that was all that she could fit into the small cup, as if the location didn't have access to large cups. When we asked to be refunded the difference, the woman sighed heavily and began to act as if she was agitated, handing us free ice cream coupons and telling us that we could come another time if we wanted more ice cream. She got upset when we refused to leave until we were either refunded or got the rest of the ice cream we paid for.
When we received the extra ice cream, we noticed that the remaining ice cream was enough to fill almost two different cups she handed us after the fact. The experience left us all upset and disappointed in the terrible customer service we received. Never have I dealt with someone so blatantly rude to the point where I lose my appetite...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would give zero stars if I could. I ordered a twirl and it was given to me inside a second styrofoam cup, I didn't think anything of it at first. We drove away and was almost home (approximately 30 minutes away) and the inside cup had a hole in it about half way down and there was pieces of styrofoam throughout the ice cream. How unbelievably ignorant does the employee making this ice cream have to be to simply put the cup with a huge hole in the middle into another cup. This is a choking hazard and so stupid to give a person food knowing it has styrofoam in it! We were literally the only customers in the drive thru and nobody was at the walk up windows, so there was more than enough time to use common sense and make another! I have left a message with the corporate office and have taken numerous photos of the cup and ice cream to show them the stupidity of their employee! I will NEVER be back to this location or any other location if this is what the employees think...

The cashier was extremely rude and called my wife and myself a liar twice. We ordered 8 ice creams, it started to rain so we sent the 6 kids to the car and just delivered them when they were ready. We only got 7 and they said all 8 were already sent out. My wife showed them my receipt and they said we already gave you the one we were missing. I then went back to the window and said we are missing this one and the cashier said well we sent it out. I said well you can check my car if you want only 7 people have ice creams and we clearly paid for 8. She said well it's not that a big deal which I said clearly it is since you called us both liars over a $5 ice cream.
